I did a little research and read all the reviews i could fine on the Pantor Sealion. My wife gave me the blue face version for Christmas, thank you sweatheart! The blue face is quite striking, against the simple design, and the attention to detail, which in my opinion makes it appealing. With the metal bracelet it is heavy; some will like this combination. Not that i disliked it, it is just noticeable. I changed the metal bracelet to the supplied silicone rubber strap. Just as other reviews commented, I found the combination comfortable and easy to wear! Actually surprisingly easy to wear. Kudos to Pantor !!! Keeps pretty good time for a mechanical watch. There are two movement options, Seiko and a Swiss movement. The Seiko is the least expensive. However, some buyers will prefer the Swiss movement because it is a Swiss movement. The Seiko movement is well proven and reliable, just not Swiss. For some buyers this will be important. In summary, the Sealion is a handsomely crafted older style time piece, which is comfortable to wear. I think it represents tremendous value for the money.

I received this watch for Father's day and took it swimming in the ocean. It fogged up inside and ran fast, about 15 seconds for every 10 seconds. The company was willing to replace it, but the fact a watch made it out the door that will not even keep proper time and a "diver" watch that you can't take swimming gives me serious concerns for their quality control. I gave it one star because it is a nice looking watch, but that's about all it is good for.

Beautifully made watch, quality in all respects. Luminosity very bright, charges readily, lasts overnight when charged. Stainless bracelet very high quality as well. Solid stainless links, comfortable. Nice design and case shape. It appears to lose a couple seconds a day when time set to match my Rolex. Smooth second hand. Overall a great watch, sport and casual dress. The one i purchased was green. Nice bright metallic green. Not a scuba diver personally, though expect to function fine. Build is solid, weight ideal without excess bulk.Returned watch, loosing more time daily, 2-5 minutes daily.....was slow to return as thought needed a break in period. No, just running slow. Contacted Pantor, they provided return info. Sent out for warranty repair. Took some time, communication slow, though they would reply. Became very frustrating. Watch ended up back in Hong Kong factory. Process took 6 months, though they recalibrated, accurized and returned watch after 6 months, a most reliable watch that keeps on time on par with any of my quartz watches. I am now incredibly pleased. I do like the watch, and I will go ahead and recommend a definite buy for this Pantor Sea lion.

The watch is extremely comfortable, very charming and wears smaller than it's 42mm case size. My only complaint is that the dial is slightly misaligned, but humans make mistakes so I don't mind it that much. Perfect dive watch for the money :)

Beautiful Diver. Well made and beautifully finished. Terrific lume and solid closure. All and all a great timepiece.

Look great but thats it! If you buy this watch, soak it in water to see if its waterproof. The company wasnt helpful at all, i lost $400. So be warned!

Watch is very good...All is Perfect in this watch Except:1. Polished area of stainless steel is low....2. Lumina on hands feels different quality than the markers. Hands Lumina is very best quality.Time became 1 minute slower in 3 weeks time. But maybe it is common in all automatic watches...I really dont know about this.

Very impressed with the Pantor Sea Lion for what it costs. The watch I received is exactly like the images of the watch online. Fit and finish are very good. The dial on mine is more of a satin grey and does not have any kind of "sunburst" effect, which I am very happy about. This is a simple, well-built, 300M dive watch for 50% of what a 300M watch normally costs. It wears "small" on the wrist for its size and is less obtrusive than other dive watches of similar size that I own. Bracelet is of surprisingly high quality, with solid end links. Chapter ring aligns perfectly at 12 O'clock. Bezel clicks are very positive and bezel has a nice degree of "tightness" - it takes effort to turn it. Understated and very well built.

As a professional freediver I am quite picky when it comes to dive watches.I want something rugged, easy to read, with a unidirectional bezel for timings, that will stand the test of time, if it looks good then that's just a bonus.I first saw the Pantor Sealion when a friend came diving with me who had one . His was the black face watch and after closer inspection I was very impressed.Nice automatic movement, helium release valve (for the very occasional person who actually needs one) , easy to read. I was even happier to find out that it was reasonably priced.I love the pantor emblem of the season lion on the crown, really nice touch.Sure breitling and rolex would love to have you believe that real divers use their watches when diving but the fact is, even if a diver owns one of those brands, they don't take them diving. They are too expensive! The risk isn't worth it.Most divers I know use watches that are sub £500 for this reason.The watch itself is a lovely looking watch and nice and heavy in the hand. I went for the blue face option to stand out from my normal black face choice. I was not disappointed. In normal daylight the blue is a lot less 'electric' than the photos.The glow in the dark markers are very bright and last all night if they receive some light before it goes dark.The strap is solid stainless Steel and is easy to adjust. It also comes with a plastic/rubber divers strap which is great although when diving I put mine on a Webbing strap as I trust them more.It comes in a nice case which may well get repurposed as a case for something else as I won't be taking this off my wrist very often. It also comes with a link remover tool which does the job, it's not hard to do.Overall I couldn't be happier with this watch, it feels, looks and performs like a watch over twice its price and ill be handing it down to my boy in years to come.Get it, you won't be disappointed.

As a watch fan, and I have quite a few, this is a lovely chunky masculine watch. The time keeping is as good as my Rolex and I really would recommend this watch.

Like look of watch arrived nicely presented. Thats were it ended.. When i turned watch upside down - watch stopped.. Watch returned

Very nice attractive quality watch. Nice size for comfortable fit on wrist. Excellent bright long lasting Lume for reading the time in the dark. (Extra note for Watch lovers’ interest? I really want a Doxa sub but it’s out of my price bracket. This Sealion fitted with a Geckota/Watch Gecko beads of rice bracelet really looks the business, my step up the ladder)
