I ordered this in the "2 slot" card holder & I'm glad I did instead of the "1 slot." We have a lot of card games that my son & I play together and many times it's too many cards for him to hold in his 8-year old hands easily & to keep all of his cards organized, etc...so I got this set of card holders mainly for him to use one & it works really great for him! It fits a lot of cards & he can separate the cards in his hand with the "better" cards on the top row of the holder & his "not as good" cards on the bottom row. So it worked out really well for him that I chose the "2 slot" holder! He really likes it & it's quite handy for him & makes playing all of our card games much easier for him to hold his cards so he can clearly see them all to decide which card he wants to choose to play, which is especially nice for him since we play cards often!Our card holders were completely smooth all around & I personally appreciate the fact that they're pure, all natural, unadulterated wood with no layer of paint/lacquer added onto them, especially for children using these, so they're really low-toxin. I did still air them out in our garage lying upside down for awhile before using them though, just to "air out" the thin felt pads that are attached to the bottom of these, which are probably made of polyester material I'm guessing (so that the card holders don't scratch a table.) That felt on the bottom of them could very well have contributed to a bit of a "smell" to the box that one reviewer mentioned they noticed when they opened it up. (Polyester is a synthetic fabric that can "off gas" some of the chemicals used in making it.) So I wasn't wild about the addition of the added felt (probably polyester) bottoms to these & I would've actually preferred it if that hadn't been added to the bottom of the card holders, but it's securely attached/glued onto the card holders with no real way of taking it off. And I can see where a lot of customers might like to have that on the bottom of the card holders to keep a table from possibly potentially getting scratched.I think it would've been nice if the manufacturer of these would've just added some little felt "dots"/circles into the package instead of attaching a whole, long strip of felt fabric to the bottom of each card holder, so that a consumer could decide for themselves if they needed/wanted to add anything onto the bottom of their card holders or not. We didn't need it since we usually play our card games sitting on the couch, not placing our cards onto a table.So perhaps that's something the manufacturer could take into consideration in the future to leave the choice with the consumer as to whether or not the consumer wishes to personally add a few of those little felt "circles" to the bottom of these card holders by just placing a pack of those in the box with the card holders! :) The outside of the box is also nice enough for giving these as a gift to someone you know who plays a lot of card games with their friends/family. Overall, it's a quite handy & creative idea that I'm really glad I got for my son!

Whenever we get together with friends we play this card game where it starts out with 12 cards and grows by two at every turn. I have such small hands that even 12 cards is hard for me to handle, so I got this set. I have used all 4 of them at once, this has made playing so much easier for me because I can actually see my cards and I'm not holding up the game for everyone else by trying to flip back and forth between them.The only issue I have with this set is that they are meant unfinished which kind of sets my sensory issues off. My husband has promised to finish them for me, hopefully that gets done soon.I wish I'd have realized beforehand that they were unfinished.

These are something I've needed for a long time! I really do like them!They arrived packaged nicely in a box. They appear to be well made with no sharp edges. I have only used them once, but they worked very good, so much better than trying to fit a bunch of cards in my hand.The only problem I encountered was when I opened the box for the first time, there was a strong bad smell. I aired them out for several days and it does seem to have mostly gone away. I hope that it doesn't come back after being closed back up in the box when I haven't used them in awhile.Since I only used them once so far, I don't know how well they will hold up over time. They seem really sturdy, though, so I don't anticipate any problems. I will update this review if I obtain more insightful information in the future.

These card holders are solid and well made. I especially liked the non slip bottom to keep them in place. The cards fit into the slots a little looser than I thought, but they stand up right with no issues. You can see the full card as it sits in the stand. The edges are all smooth, no sharp edges etc. Sneaky eyes can still scope out their neighbor’s cards but if sitting in a specific way with the holder directly in front of you, you may be able to protect your cards. Little hands would have no issue putting cards in. Useful tool, although a little bulky.

These things are amazing. They are solid wood with felt on the bottom. They're very sturdy so they're not going anywhere. Big enough to hold 12 cards with almost no overlap. We used it to play Sleuth and it was really nice not to have to shuffle through your stack while holding kids. They've got two rows, the bottom one is closed on the sides but the top is open-ended so you can have cards hanging off if needed. They are curved for more privacy.Really awesome little gadget. 100% recommend.

I picked these up as I have 3 young boys and we often play games that have cards. Be it Uno or Exploding Kittens, holding the cards has been a challenge for them. As a result we often have to use makeshift sight blockers to hide our their cards. These wooden curved card holders have been a great addition to make game time a little easier for the kids to play our games.First off they are fully wood which is nice with a piece of felt like cloth glued to the bottom to prevent the holders from sliding around. I also like that there are two rows for holding the cards. Some of the games we play can have a lot of cards and they can really stack up in your hand. Having a second row is very nice. Even nicer is having a second row that is elevated. This allows you to be able to see all the cards much easier then when the two card slots are on the same level.There is not much more to say. You get 4 which is great for families and they are well made. If you don't like holding your cards or physically cannot these are a great set to pick up.
