really helpful book to broaden kids (and at times adults) vocabulary. easy to read, well structured and good quality

Wish I'd bought this earlier than leaving it as a last minute purchase before the actual 11+ test. Good size book that wasn't too big for my child to navigate. Would definitely recommend buying if you've got the 11+ coming up!

My wife, who delights in crosswords, Countdown and similar word related activities, was thrilled with the book. Despite shelves of dictionaries and thesauruses she finds this volume to be her most knowledgeable, comprehensive and convenient aid - apart from me.
