The birds in my garden love them.
We currently have a lot of Pigeons visiting my garden, to bathe in the shallow part of my pond. We also have, Starlings, Jackdaws, Magpies, Sparrows, Blue Tits, and one male Robin.Due to the fact that the Starlings and Magpies can decimate a suet-filled Coconut half, in less than 20 minutes, I had to construct a bird feeder, with two halves cut from of a Gardman A01820 Heavy Duty Squirrel Proof Seed Bird Feeder (ASIN B00FF9IA76), hinged at each side. Otherwise the smaller birds wouldn't gat a look in, and be bullied out of everything. Our Sparrows, Blue Tits, and Robins, have proved to be fussy feeders, and don't seem to care for whole Mealworms, or those black Niger seeds; which is strange. However, they do all like these RSPB Wild bird Buggy Nibbles, a LOT!And together with Organic Millet Seed Hulled 5kg (ASIN B0BH4FMVV9), they provide everything that the smaller birds need, especially during the winter months, and are much better nutrition than peanuts, during the breeding season. The hulled Millet seeds give no mess from the husks, which can be a problem, in keeping bird feeders clean.Yellow Millet is a great source of Vitamin B, which is essential during the breeding season and for rearing young birds. These tiny yellow grains have good protein levels and are naturally high in iron, and are also naturally high in magnesium, phosphorus, and potassium..Saturated animal fats, such as lard and suet, while not good for us, help to keep the smaller bird's body temperature up, during the wintertime. This helps birds to be healthier, since they do not have to expend as much energy fighting infections. The £14.00 3kg tub (ASIN B00I9X7EO0) comes in handy for storing these treats, and it can be topped up from the Buggy nibbles £13.00 3kg refill bag, which don't currently appear to be available, on here, but are at rspb.org.uk.I can thoroughly recommend these Buggy Nibbles, for attracting wild birds to your garden. But beware, Squirrels and other critters, also find them irresistible.Interesting fact about Pigeons and Interneurons:Pigeons have 40 million Interneurons. An Ostrich has 124 million.Crows, Ravens, Jackdaws, etc have 290 million, which is seven times that of a Pigeon. The Human brain contains 100 BILLION. All of which proves my long-held theory, that Pigeons are definitely not very smart.Interneurons carry sensory information, and regulate motor activity. So how Homing Pigeons still manage to fly, AND find their way home, is a conundrum.

Very popular with the birds.
I only buy these for the winter months to give the birds a boost. Too expensive to feed all year especially when the starlings find them.I also mix with other seed so they go further. It’s the cost that made me decide just to give four stars.

Birds Love Them
Well, the birds, especially the starlings love them. They are a bit larger than the usual pellets that I buy but there is no waste and therefore good value for money, particularly when on offer.

The birds love them!! No filler ingredients
Our birds go through these so quick! I always buy RSPB because I know I’m getting really high quality food that the birds eat all of. Some suet you buy from others, the birds will leave the ‘filler’ ingredients which makes it really messy when you have to clean all the feeders and catch trays. They leave nothing with this food! It’s also really handy that you can buy the refill bags for the tubs so that you are not wasting plastic.

Appreciated by customers
The Rooks and Jackdaws seem to enjoy it. I couldn’t get close enough to ask them personally (yet.)
