Phonics Readers Ted's Shed

I purchased this book for my neice as a Christmas gift when she was about 1 or 2 years old. Not having kids of my own, I had no way to judge its quality, but I have a dog named Ted (Teddy) so I figured, why not.In the months that followed, my brother reported that his daughter would ask him to read the book every day, several times a day.My niece is now in the 1st grade, and during a recent visit, my brother commented that she *still* reads the book! I've now purchased it for another neice who was just born and would recommend it to others.

I needed a large stock of phonics books as my daughter loves reading but can't handle sight words on their own. This is one of 12 in a series, we got all of them used, all in great condition and with timely delivery (even from the UK). And my daughter loves them all, sweet stories connected by the same characters used in each book.

The books is not what I would consider “Good” quality. It is extremely creased there are an assortment of weird stains on many pages (ink, dirt, a suspicious dried up substance that looks like it might be snot). It also needs be taped up because some of the pages have started to peal away fro the spine. We have ordered other books from the seller that were good quality. This one was not.

I love Usborne Books and More phonics books. They are easy to read.

FANTASTIC AND MY SON LOVES ITGREAT QUALITY

Como todos los libros de esta colección muy bueno. Los dibujos, el texto grande, corto con rima fonetica.... Tiene 3-4 solapas para levantar y seguir leyendo. Los primeros lectores y más mayores se rían con las historietas siempre entretenidas y con mensajes positivos.Personalmente los tengo todos. Pq me parecen una herramienta buenísima para que los más peques aprendan inglés y estos libros.... Engamchan!!!

With beautiful illustrations and easy to read phonic story, this was exactly what I was looking for my daughter who has just started reading on her own. What I also like about this series is that the characters are repeated so the young readers start associating easily with them as they move from one book to another. The characters are very cute and I myself like to have a look at them once in a while

The book is an excellent choice for teaching Jolly Phonics, but this item was suposed to be in a good condition. It actually arrived dirty, with some tear and wear in many pages. Very dissapointed with this trasacction.El libro es excelente para enseñar Jolly Phonics, pero se suponía que estaba en buen estado. Ha llegado sucio, muy usado y con algunas páginas con muestras evidentes de haber sido doblado e inluso con pequeñas roturas. Completamente desencantado con esta transacción.
