    True Story Of HM Queen Victoria And John Brown

Very moving film. Dame Judi Dench and Billy Connolly are well cast in this story of Queen Victoria and John Brown. This is based on the true story of the friendship between the Queen and John Brown and is well acted by the two stars. I had noted that some buyers had rated this film based on Brendan O'Carroll's comedy "Mrs. Brown's Boys" THIS IS NOT  A MOVIE VERSION OF MRS. BROWN'S BOYS. This is the true story of a part of Queen Victoria's life and association with John Brown that led to the gossip that H M Queen Victoria may be considering marrying John Brown, thus becoming Mrs. Brown and must not be confused with the said TV Programmes. Overall this movie is quite stirring and emotive. Well worth a look.

This is a really good enjoyable movie about the late Queen Victoria and her P.A Mr Brown .Both (Now) Dame Judie Dench and Mr Billy Connolly are exceptional actors which shines through in this excellent story or loyalty & friendship .Worth adding to any Blu Ray / Dvd collection .Dolby digital 2 channel stereo in both English & French .No extra features .Full screen picture .

This is one of those films that you just can just watch over & over again. The acting is superb. Judie Dench always puts on a marvellous performance but Billy Connolly is the real star of the whole film. His acting is so wonderful. You completely believe in his character & forget that he  was originally a fantastic comedian. This film is a must, for anybody to keep to watch every never and again.
