I searched on Amazon and discovered this great device. It arrived quickly and was easy to put together. I easily rehung my wind chimes but then discovered how handy this sturdy item was. I am 5' and didn't think I was shrinking but it was more of a stretch to reach the clothes rod over my washer and always needed a step stool to reach the upper rod in my closet. I now can reach everything easily. After figuring out how to best hook the hangers wash day is much easier. I suspect this sturdy clothes pole will be around for a long time. In fact I just ordered a second one - one upstairs and one downstairs for convenience. I would highly recommend this product.July 9, 2026 Had to write an update. Not to worry the first two are still going strong. I recently purchased a new truck and again being 5' I was having a problem reaching stuff that had slid to the front of the truck bed.
