These are not much good for anything because you have to be on top of the thing you want to do so you can't fit a tool between your face and the thing your working on

Initially I thought it was something I was doing wrong. Surely they couldn't possibly have gotten it so wrong?Nope, not me, this product really is just about as terrible as you could possibly imagine.A jewellers loupe allows very close examination of gemstones to check for cut, clarity and all manner of things a jeweller needs to check for. These magnifying glasses are powerful but crystal clear. This product only resembles such a thing in the most vague terms. Like a fool I had to try for myself because hey, maybe they fixed things, maybe the first production models were faulty. Perhaps the seller managed to grab an ounce of decency and fix it.I never considered myself an optimist.I actually think they may have made it worse.The laughably described lenses provided with this thing couldn't be more opaque if they were just pieces of black plastic. Their clarity is only akin to a grassless plain after a torrential downpour. You walk onto this plain, stick your head in the mud and then decry how blue the sky is. Honestly, you are more likely to be able to see the sky from beneath the mud than you are to see anything at all with this monstrous affront to optics.The frame is not high quality ABS, it is the cheapest plastic you can possibly find, perhaps even cheaper than that nasty stuff Revell used to pass off as plastic kits a few years ago. It is brittle, nasty, poorly manufactured rubbish. No, actually rubbish would have some use after recycling, this has no use. I'm not even convinced it could be recycled.Soldering. Only if you intend to melt your eyeball.Painting, not even, you wouldn't be able to get a brush between the lens and the paper you were using.Sewing, if you are happy sticking your head directly underneath the needle of the machine you are using. Do not try to hand stitch with these on - you will suffer the most horrific injuries imaginable.Industry, no industry at all would touch these with a barge pole, well - except some African Prince with millions to invest in your bank account once you hand over the details, you could use these to see your profits.Dentistry, honestly if I was to encounter a dentist wearing a pair of these things I would immediately phone the emergency line to the funny farm so I could inform them I've found the insane scientist they are missing.Dressmaking, yes absolutely, this will be instantly recognisable as the poor soul sitting in a pool of blood with no fingers screaming as though every demon in hell were infesting their nether regions.Magnification is all but non-existent, or alternatively so extreme that you quite literally have to stick whatever you are holding right up against the lens in order to attempt to make out what it is. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING else is a nauseating, headache inducing blur.That these people feel empowered enough to sell a piece of absolute, utter garbage like this makes me despair for the future of the human race. It beggars belief that anyone could have such disdain for their customers and such little respect for themselves as to try to pass off a piece of utter shite like this as a quality instrument.I apologise if I have offended the delicate sensibilities of any future shoppers with my rhetoric, but I do hope that this review will scare you sufficiently that you run away from this product by the most expedient method available to you.

This works as a magnifier but has two main shortcomings.The focus point is very close. e.g. 300 from the front of the 15x lenses.There is no adjustment to make the left and right eye view converge, so you don't see the same thing with both eyes.The lenses are interchangeable so you could use a 10x on one eye and a 25x on the other and 'zoom in' by turning your head and shutting the other eye, but this is more a bug than a feature.It would probably be more useful to fit only one magnifying lens so that one eye has a normal view and the other has a magnified view if you move closer.The LED lights are quite good.I don;t thinks I will get much use out of these.

good value for the price of course each magnification/lens has a very small depth of focus and there is no way to adjust focus between eyes but the view from two, well lit monocular positions is almost as good as binocular.

Easy to use, does the job - ideal for close-up intricate work, preferably at a desk top, like hobbies, crafts, etc (not for reading etc)Can't fault at the price !

I wanted this for close-up soldering work (amongst other things). I find the magnification levels too high if anything, but the biggest concern is the quality of the optics and the effect this has when magnifying something so much. They were cheap enough, so I am not too fussed about having wasted my money...but they are not something I can see using on a regular basis.They "kind of" fit over my existing spectacles...but I am worried about the rear of the lenses scratching the surface of my spectacles...so I'll have to try and find a workaround!

Esto era un regalo llego roto una lente nos dimos cuenta muy tarde y además que pensamos que avía más lente intento trabajar y fue imposible no se vee nada y para ver un copo tiene que estar pegado al artículo mala posion de espalda y no se puede trabajar con las gafas he pedido la devolución a ver que pasa
