Stacy's Pita Chips, Simply Naked, 18-Ounce Bags (Pack of 6)

I wish I didn't love these. I also buy the Trader Joe's less guilt chips but these tastes betters. Sigh. I will continue to order these because they taste amazing. Amazon has a good price for the size of the bag(party size). they have always arrived fresh and with plenty of big chips (some crushed little ones but not many).

We've tried seven different brands of Pita chips now, and these are BY FAR the best. My wife now orders them by the case from Amazon. We munch on them all the time, and we love them. Other brands we've tried just don't have the same balance of good qualities. Some were a little too "bready" and not as crisp; others were hard as a rock; several brands were just too thick and dry. The Stacy's Pita Chips are just plain good!

I really like these chips. They are a nice BIG bag that lasts awhile. I had to switch from my favorite crackers because the were triangle shaped and if you are missing a tooth then you know triangle shaped food HURTS like &$^#*@& when it stabs you in the tender gums. I had 1 root canal that was absolute torture and I was allergic to whatever the doc used in it and I ended up losing the tooth anyway. That gum line has never been the same since. So I had to find a more friendly cracker to eat. Stacy's pita chips are rectangular so they have worked out much better for me. These are not highly flavored but I use dips and the moo cow cheeses on them and they go together GREAT! (Son is yelling that the moo cow cheese is the "Laughing Cow". I can't remember that name! I've never seen a cow laugh so can't word associate that! LOL.) But these crackers and that cheese...MMMMMmmmm!!!! I just received my SECOND subscribe and save order of these chips! I'm so GLAD they are offered that way!! As long as they are, I'll be a buyer!!

Packaged in bags twice as big as you would get a store. These would be good for catering, for your house, expect each bag to last you a while. Same great Stacy's pita chips, just a lot of them. We kept closing the bag, and wrapping it with a rubber band. The chips managed to stay fresh for over week- or at least that was our impression. To be honest, toasted pita vs stale toasted pita is a bit of a tough deferential.This are great with hummus and other dips. My friends make some awesome hot dips - and these chips are the best way to eat them. They are large sturdy chips- perfect for keeping your fingers dry while scooping up some hot delicious goodness.I am reviewing this product in an effort to help other Amazon customers through relaying my experience with the product and providing any insight I garnered. We have tried a number of brands of pita chips, but none are as good as Stacy's. They have a buttery flavor that the others lack. We eat a couple of bags a week and buy them in bulk. We have tried the flavored kind, but we like "Simply Naked" best.

Was introduced to these while visiting in Vermont. Could not find them in local area. Ordered these favs online and am enjoying the salty taste in lieu of potato chips. Chips are hard and crunchy and good eaten alone or with tuna salad, hummus etc. Ordered them in Dec. and expiration date was not until May so that wasn't too bad. I can consume them before May.

Please be aware that these are my favorite pita chips, unfortunately, the ones I received were broken and were not that great tasting (this is compared to the same brand/flavor that I get from my local grocery store). Sadly, I don't recommend purchasing these as there are quality issues with taste and condition of the product upon arrival.

In the past these chips have been great - I am addicted. The problem with broken chips was somewhat improved with better packaging (bags within a sturdy box within a flimsy box). The outer Amazon box often arrives with dents and crushed corners, so Amazon still has room for improvement on packaging. The last 3 times I've ordered the big 6 bag box, I've noticed that the chips have gotten much thicker, and seem under cooked, having lost much of their previous crispiness. This may have been their attempt to resolve the problem of chips being broken into small pieces during shipping. For me, it means the bags of chips last much longer as I don't really like the new taste all that much. Maybe if Amazon tried a little stronger outer box for shipping and Stacy's went back to a little slimmer and crispier chip they could reach a happy medium?
