110 Litre Green Bin/Refuse Bin With Lockable Lid ( Made In The U.K ) By KetoPlastics

A very useful bin with a lockable that has foiled the foxes around our West London house, meaning I can put the bin out last thing at night instead of rising at the crack of dawn. Tough, relatively light, easy to carry.My only quibble is that after 2.5 years the lid, which seems to be of a slightly different material to the body, has grown brittle. I dropped it to weeks ago and knocked a chunk off and it has been disintegrating steadily ever since. I would mind less if it was possible to buy a replacement lid - it looks like I might have to throw away the whole thing, when there's nothing wrong with the main body.

I have reviewed the pink and green 80/85 litre bins in full, and have this item too which we use for Chicken bedding - this lockable bin takes a good 100 litre bale of dust free wood chip from a Farm/Agriculture Merchant and despite the cold, snow, rain and damp last few weeks all is dry, handle comfortable clip into place and lifting is comfortable too, when full may need two people to move - as the bin is bulky. Wont blow over in a stiff wind but might do in a gale but the lockability will save it from spilling, great as spare bin at Christmas when put to its original use. Colours useful too for colour coding with wheelie bins - and this fits in an estate car on its side and can go to a recycle centre for emptying without the spilling - it will roll though! Can be hosed down and put upside down to dry, and would make a very nice cooling drinks bin for a party and afterwards take all the empties too, also better on toes than galvanised, but not as good as galvanised for musicality.

I purchased this bin and previously purchased 2 of the black bins that keto sell. I like the look of them, they seem sturdy and i needed a lockable handle to keep foxes out.Less than 4 months after purchasing this item however I went to retrieve it after leaving it out for the binmen and there was a massive crack down the side. On contacting keto they said that 'a crack like that would require a great deal of force' and cited Amazon 30day return policy and refused to replace it. I even offered as a compromise to buy ano black bin from them if they would replace the green one as I needed another black bin anyway.Bad product and abysmal way to treat a repeat customer.

Strong and a very useful large size. The robust handles close easily and securely and stay closed. Completely watertight, which is useful as we store the hens feed in one of these and it hasn't leaked throughout the wettest, windiest winter we have had in 20 years. Heavy enough not to blow away if in a reasonably sheltered spot. I have bought more of these and am very pleased with them.

I've now used these for over two year and the lids don't always stay secured. But if this is improved I would recommend them

Perfect for a compost bin if the usual ones are too big and heavy for you to turn. I ought two and drilled them for aeration and drainage. Lockable lid is good as it avoids pests getting in. Need bungee to keep it on if you are rolling or tumbling compost.

Good bin- flimsy lid. had to replace damged when arrived. Since then all good - very capacious.
