POR 15 45032 - 1 4oz Can Gloss Black Rust Preventative Paint (45006)

This stuff is a miracle product if you use it right. Read the directions for coating and second applications. The self leveling feature is real this stuff will run and drip after you put it on. But the quality of the finish and the anti rust is the best.

My body shop recommended this. Their advice was to first, wear gloves and tape off the area, cover & protect everything else. Getting this on anything other than the rust of your car and it will be very difficult to get off - hands included. Expose the rust, but do not sand it away. This product is supposed to bond with the rust, so if you sand it off, then it will not work. I used it on the inside of a trunk on a black car. This was perfect for that application.

Went on just fine, doesn’t drip or run that easy, painted right onto rust that was eating up my rocker panels and the rail under my Altima. Looks very nice and easily hidden. I recommend a clear coat on top of any UV exposed areas, which I also painted on.

I love this product. Period. Looks amazing, very tough and paints over rust. Prep is sooooooo important for long term applications and for a smooth glossy finish. Follow the instructions, use a metal prep, make sure it's bone dry, watch out for drips, and keep it off your skin. WARNING! It will not come off your skin or clothes or driveway or garage floor without harsh chemicals or rough physical removal...

I have used POR15 many times on automotive restoration projects. Using their degreaser, metal prep, and paint, it works flawlessly every time.

It’s Por15! Get it works wonders. Just becarful it’s super runny. And my best advice. Drill a hole through the lid and use tape or a plug when not in use as these lids are not good for getting off and a tight seal back on.

I love this product but I had to use a can opener to open it the first time. I used a paint key to open it and there’s nothing I could do to open it properly. The paint had stuck it shut. I had to throw the rest away. I’ll buy the quart next time. Every quart I have ever opened opens a lot easier.
