L'Oreal Paris Feria Multi-Faceted Shimmering Permanent Hair Color, 525 Purple Smoke, Pack of 1, Hair Dye

As you can see in my photo, I only died one spot of my hair because I was trying to get rid of an orange brassy highlight that didn’t take and this did the trick. The bluish green lasted for two weeks, but as it faded it removed the orange out of my hair, which I have bought another box for a back up in case I bleach poorly again. It would be a nice color if someone died their whole head and they had lighter hair.

I've been dying my hair black for the past 10 years, and decided I wanted a change. My natural color is a medium to dark blonde/light brown, so when my roots start coming back in, it's not very pretty. I definitely didn't want to bleach my hair, so I decided to just start dying my roots the color I eventually wanted my hair to be. I've been searching for a gray-blue-teal color for years, and I have yet to find a color that will stick to my hair and also not make my bathtub look like the scene of a smurf massacre. This is it, ya'll: Vintage Teal. I was actually not expecting much with this color because the Feria edgy color line always gets horrible reviews from hair dressers and customers alike. But not only is this color beautiful, but it stains nothing. Not my skin when I rinsed it or my bathtub or bedding. The pictures are of my natural hair color growing into the black, and then next to it is what the color looks like after I've shampooed it twice, every two days. I've only had it in for a bit over a week, but I love it so far. PLEASE don't ever get rid of this color! I can't wait to see my whole head this shade!! (>x<)/

My girlfriend bought this hair color initially for her, but instead we ended up using a box on me. The color we got was “Vintage Teal” and claimed it was suppose to be a dark grey. Now let me tell you, this is NOTHING close to grey! It literally came out electric blue with some green hues in it. I started with my hair already bleached but some spots were a little more orange than others. But regardless the box claims it’d even cover light brown hair. Please tell me how i got electric blue when it was suppose to be grey! Do NOT recommend this at all. The box claims it’s 2018 best hair color of the year, and honestly I’ve never seen it on shelves anywhere that sells box hair color. So maybe it was ripped off the shelves for a reason and discontinued. Just trying to save someone else the pain because now i had to color my hair black! DO NOT BUY PRODUCT OR BE CAREFUL.

I like this color, but it's not as dramatic as I expected. It's a purplish brown, and I didn't notice any of the gray/metallic tones that make it "grunge".It's easy to apply, and the fading isn't as dramatic as with other purplish colors. After a month it's more of a burgundy than purple, but still nice.I'm about 25% gray, it covered my grays well without looking garish.I got multiple compliments on this color.

I decided to step out of my comfort zone and give my boring medium brown a pick me up. I had always wanted a purple tint to my hair, but was too scared to do it until now. About 5 minutes after putting it on my head it turned bright purple which gave me a little bit of anxiety, but I know that hair dye looks much different then the end result. As soon as I rinsed it out I blow dried my hair to see the end result. I loved it. Being my hair was medium brown to begin with it gave me just a subtle purple tint which I like. I think next time I may leave it on just a few minutes longer to see if that increases the color a bit. If you are looking for a subtle brownish purple this is a must try.

This was supposed to be a gray jade but turned my blonde hair electric blue! I loved it but also has faded to a dull blue after about 10 washings despite stating it's permanent color

The picture doesn't do it justice. I thought it be more a dark grey and it turned out more black with a teal sheen to it. You can really see it when light hits it. Such a surprise, good one.

Excellent coverage. Easy to use, no mess. The color of the Purple Smoke is exactly what I wanted. It is very subtle when you are indoors and the purple shade shines through beautifully outdoors in the sun. My hair had been lightened from a very dark brown to a medium brown several weeks back when my hairstylist did my purple hair the first time. Decided to save alot of money and do the purple myself this time since it was already lightened. It was perfect for my medium brown color. A very very dark brown may not reflect the purple so well but it tells u this on the box
