NESTI DANTE Dei Colli Fiorentini, Sweet Violet Soap 250 g

The soap bar itself smells nice, but the issue is that once you actually use it, I expected it not to smell EXACTLY like the bar itself, but the smell changes completely: it's more like the soap my grandma uses, which really doesn't smell all that great.Now a while has passed and it seems to smell back like violets, but the first minutes were slightly disappointing :PNevertheless, it cleans well, you can feel it; out of respect for the manufacturers, I won't go too harsh on them, but buyers should expect it to be a little bit of a ride.

Love all nesti dante soaps and this is no exception. Does not melt away or lose its fragrance. Delicious.

Lovely smell

I love these soaps: they have natural perfume with a really creamy foam. They don't dry out my hands and they make the bathroom smell great and they last a really long time. I''ve been using them for a couple of years and I've never been disappointed by them. The price reflects the quality and they are made in Italy! They make a great gift too, beautifully packaged.

A very sickly scent, not Iike violet at all - some of Nesti Dante's soaps are sublime and some smell exactly the same - a slightly unpleasant, sickly sweet and cloying scent. Will stick to Portofino as that's beautifully perfumed.
