Line up the gap for the cord and push into place on bottom of heater. Screw in the two thumb screws. **Q: Its not working** A: Sadly, I have now had 4 of these heaters. 2 of them stopped working within 2 months. 1 was a replacement. The other 2 are now down to 1 element only and I expect that they will also expire before too long. Good while they work, but............. **Q: Does this item use a lot of electricity.. I have a small blow heater and it eats my electric** A: No it doesn't use much electricity, as they are halogen light bulbs that give out the heat. I bought it for my daughter as her electricity bill was so high with her oil heater she had. Unlike other portable heaters it dosent smell.
