This is just what the education system needs to get their students into a new mental state and ready to meet the social challenges. This program has depth and viability.

Emotional Intelligence 2.0 is an outstanding book and one of the best I have ever read. I don't know why this isn't taught as an MBA course. I would have found this very valuable as part of my cirrulum. This is not just for leaders but for your personal life as well. This is a must read for everyone. I bought this for my entire management team and the results have been astonishing! What are you waiting for?

I have to say that as an educator working in higher education I have seen/taken various assessments. However, this one was such an evident scam that I have to come here to say, save your money!The assessment took me 5 minutes max. Questions are asking you to self-assess your ability to “handle emotions” or “respond to a conflict”. The design of question is so poor that I am shocked this book is still on sales and hasn’t been completely torn apart.I rarely come here to leave feedback. But this experience was nothing I can compare it to. I got completely scammed!

A good listen in my case as had the this book in the audio form. Some very good tips for how to control your emotional well being. I found it a little bit basic at times and the American male voice was unfortunately a little grating for me but that may not be so for anyone else, as voices are personal but he sounds condescending at times. I think while it is nice to listen on long journeys I probably would not buy an audio book again unless it was a fictional book.I did not agree with every thing that was said and found at times there were generalisations that were, for me very untrue, but on the whole I would recommend it. Like most things you take out of the book what resonates for you and I am not a reader that will 'blanket believe' things. I like to listen or read and make my own mind up about the information.

I have been enjoying listening to this while driving to work every day! It is something I am going to have to listen to many times and hopefully sometime when sitting at home so I can take notes!

The two biggest reasons I give this book a 3-star rating is for the lack of quantitative research and the way the book is outlined in short 2-3 page chapters. Expanding on the first reason, it seems like it was written by someone who has a good understanding on EQ but does not back up any of the reasoning with in-depth quantitative research. I want to read a book where someone spent hours researching a topic and summarizing it with hard data or with explanations filled with knowledge not known by the average person to support their findings. This is not that book. The second reason supports my first reason in that chapters seem like short thoughts that do not allow in-depth analyses. Two to three page chapters is not enough to develop and support a thought.I am going to buy another EQ book because I am unsatisfied with this one. You got my money which seems like the purpose of this book. Can I get a refund? Lol.

Audiobooks are better option. And this one is a great help at both personal and professional front

I bought both the book and CD ... Well worth the money and time ... Great tool and asset, if you are looking to improve your attitude and your life. No one can change you ... But yourself!!
