I had previously worn a pair of XL knee sleeves from Bodyprox, they were decent, but as my legs leaned out a bit, they became less and less secure. That's when I knew I needed wraps. Used for squatting, absolutely spot on I was squatting heavier than I did before the knee wraps gave me that much more support than my previous pair of wraps, i love em.
