The media could not be loaded.  We purchased a regular flute from the music store that works with our school with a huge price tag. We were advised by our school’s instrument distributor not to purchase a colored instrument due to a huge difference in quality. So we purchased one anyway from Amazon as my son wanted a colored one for his performances or to use to practice that he wouldn’t stress about dropping or losing. I regret not buying this sooner and should have tried this route first. My son has played flute for 3 years and quickly tried this one out as soon as it arrived. Is it the same heavy quality as his one we spent $1k+ on? No. But they literally sound almost identical and you cannot hear any noticeable difference. This would be great for any beginner. He is now switching to it as his primary instrument and we are retiring his original expensive flute until a day comes where he may need it again. 5 stars.

4 stars for the quality vs. cost. Very basic, nothing fancy, but excellent for a beginner. My son is satisfied with the durability thus far.

It looks good and sounds good. A little slippery to hold because it doesn’t have like a rubber piece underneath like some of the other flutes would you get to hang of it that it’s easy to get a good sound out of. I love the color. I have the blue one. Would recommend to.

For the price, this is not a bad deal. The tone is surprisingly good for a $100 flute. At first, some of the keys were a tad sticky, but I think once I break it in, that should resolve. I bought a blue one, and it is quite pretty. I got it to teach a beginner. I belong to a group that goes to juvenile hall and shows the kids there how to play an instrument. So, if it gets damaged, no big deal and they think the color is great!
