This is an updated review regarding my order breaking at first use. The supplier unasked sent out a replacement that is in good working order. I use the plate stands in my home as well as for village events (Christmas Fair, Flea Market) and they are super helpful. Much appreciate the customer service level of reading my initial review and proactively sent out a replacement. Thank you to them and happy to recommend!

Sturday perfect size

Not the most rigid, and larger plates (8") feel like they could easily topple. Probably ok for smaller plates

I can’t understand why people opt to live without plates, the practical benefits are obvious.I do have a plate. And I’m proud of it. So proud in fact, that I take a lot pleasure from displaying my (empty) plate in a prominent manner.Before my plate was supported just by a wall, but now, through this excellent find on Amazon I can display it more securely.This stand does proper justice to my plate. In its upright position my plate excites me beyond belief - functionality combined with subtle elegance!Moreover the stand: i) ensures that any rare leftover will be removed from the plate surface by gravity. And ii.) It allows admirers to observe the back of my plate.At some stage in life I might considder another plate. This would not be out of boredom with my current plate. That would be unimaginable. Period. Lets just say that I can probbaly afford it, at a certain junction. But yes, under those conditions I would like to display such an additional plate in a similar manner, perhaps even in the same room as my current plate. I should stress that this is all hypothetical. The point is that, with this in mind, I have ordered a second stand.I sincerely hope this helps fellow-plate aficionado’s to decide.
