From A Room: Volume 2

Great CD, I would buy again.

I absolutely loved From A Room: Volume 2—it feels like a heartfelt conversation with Chris Stapleton. The stripped-down production lets his voice and lyrics shine, and the few instruments are carefully placed to enhance rather than overpower.Standout tracks for me include “Think I’m In Love With You,” which delivers a beautiful blend of longing and warmth, and “Midnight Train to Memphis,” where he shows off his storytelling chops and vocal power. Every song feels genuine and steeped in soulful Americana.I also appreciated the pacing of the album—it doesn't rush. There are moments of raw emotion (“Whiskey and You”) balanced with uplifting tunes. I love the sound of Chris Stapleton's voice. I'm unable to pick just one favorite song, because I love all of them. Great song writer and singer!

Good condition

It has been a long while since a musician's lyrics and tone cut through to my soul. When I listen to Chris Stapleton, it is as if he is writing and singing about my life, a life filled with incredible trauma and incredible joy, a life of travel, settling down, packing up, Love lost, Love shared, and the awful rowing toward inner and outer acceptance.That his life journey is also the human journey, makes his music so relatable and moving. I now have all his available music and look forward to experiencing more as he continues his journey. I highly recommend Chris's music to anyone who is drawn to a bluesy, southern rock twang that takes you into the passionate emotions of rock and country.

From A Room Vol 2, the album itself, is a 5/5. This is better than Volume 1, it feels more cohesive and there really isn't a weak track on here. This is Stapleton's most bluesy/Southern Rock driven record to date. There are some country sounding tracks but it is definitely leaning more towards blues and rock, and I love it.The only reason I give the amazon review a 4 out of 5 is because the vinyl packaging is once again, bare bones. No extras here... just the record, generic mercury sleeve and the LP jacket (no gatefold, lyrics or extra posters/etc). Although you should always support great artists like Stapleton, I wouldn't pay over $15 for this record, simply because its only 9 tracks and like I said, no extras. I only paid about $13 for it and that is fine it was worth it. Hopefully Stapleton's next vinyl release has a little more to it than From A Room Vol 1 and 2.Overall presentation aside, From A Room Vol 2 is an amazing Southern Rock/ Blues/ Country record and highly recommended. If you enjoy it, check out Vol 1, not as good but still really solid.

Can never go wrong with some great Outlaw Country music
