Best for Tasco 12 MB trail cam. Dimensions of inner chamber listed here.
Near perfect for Tasco 12 MB trail cam. (Your welcome Bushnell for the boost in sales.)When searching for a security box for the Tasco 12 MB trail cam, I couldn't ever find the d@m# dimensions for the inner chambers in the security box listings. I bought 5 different trail cam security boxes, this being one of them. This security box is about 1/32" too short in height for the Tasco cam to slide in easily. But squeezing it in actually ends up holding it in place. The trick is to get the bottom squeezed in first past the slot for the face plate tab, then the top. There is some space on the sides, but the camera doesn't move really when squeezed it, so side padding to keep it in place may not be necessary. The window in front fits the lens, sensor, and lights d@m# near perfectly. I haven't shot any images yet, but I think it will function well. The camera, sensor, and IR lights are all unimpeded. So no cutting of the face plate is required, it appears, to make the security box fully functional for the Tasco camera. My guess is that it would also work with the prior 8 MB version. Here's measurements for the inner chamber in case you're considering it for other trail cams. (Your welcome again Bushnell.)Inner Height: 5 10/16" (+1/32, so technically 5 21/32")Inner Side Flap Width: 5/16" in middle + additional 5/16" at top and bottom 1/4" of the flap.Inner Max Width: 5 5/16"Inner Minimum Width: 4 13/16" (in middle between flaps)Inner Max Depth: 2 11/16"Inner Minimum Depth: 12/16" (face plate to side flap)This appears to be very sold box. The main reason I like it and chose it over the 3 other boxes that could hold the Tasco 12 MB trail cam is that it can be used straight out of the box with the Tasco cam. No cutting, padding, nor other modifications needed. Thus... time saver. And secure enough too.

measure first
Since trail cameras come in many different sizes, it is a good idea to measure first. Check your camera and the hole for the antenna making sure all line up. Good sturdy box though.
