Battery puffed up and would no longer take a charge. Have apps that are to specific to that phone so figured it be a worth a shot to try installing a replacement battery.Was easy to install the new battery, just had to unscrew some screws with the driver provided. Plug in the new battery and screw everything back on. Took only about 5 min, doesn't come with instructions but I didn't need them but if needed I'm sure you can find a how to video online.Unlike other reviews my battery showed 41% when I first plugged it in not 0. I let it charge to full and have been using the phone for a few days now. Doesn't last as long as a new battery would but does last pretty much all day with light use. It did say it cld take a few cycles to get the full capacity out of the battery so maybe it will improveUpdated rating from 4 to 5 stars because like it said the capacity improved after a few cycles

**UPDATE** Exactly 1 year later: Well, crap. Previous review (below) had it at 5 stars.... and I felt it deserved it. Now, one year later, I'm getting 9hrs of use from 100% to 10%. That stings. Weird to watch it drop from 100 to 96 within the first 5mins of unplug.For a cheap "need a battery in a pinch" substitute it did great for a while. Just no longevity there.Mainly writing this review to warn any buyers from panicking and giving up too soon.Original G Power 2020 battery bloated. I've replaced alot of batteries and took a chance on this one with no reviews.Came with even more tools than I needed to do the job.Thing is, you know how most replacements ship and arrive with at least a little charge already? This battery came with ZERO charge.Installed it and got nuthin'. Unresponsive power button. No screen indication of charging.Attached a charger and only got that hidden notification light flashing in the upper right corner of the screen. Waited 5 minutes on rapid charger - nuthin. I legit thought I got a bum battery. Removed and rechecked install. Turns out it took 15 MINUTES on rapid charge before it flashed the screen and showed the charging circle @ 0%. Stayed at zero another 5 mins, then began charging at a normal rate.I powered up around 10% and let it charge to 100. Took it off the charger and it's been performing as well as stock since.And to think I was about to give up and repackage it for return.Will update if anything goes wonky, but for now it's working great.

I had the exact experience as the other reviewer, but after 20-30mins of charging, everything is fine. Initially, you'll get the blinking white notification light at the top right, which was confusing.Charged to 100% and reviewed using Ampere. Great battery so far!

Not many reviews on this battery. Bought it anyway because I needed one urgently. Followed what other people said...plug in and wait and about 20 min. after you can see it is charging. Followed sellers instructions and let it charge and fully discharge 3 times.Still with all that, battery won't last more than 1 day maybe 1 day and a half and this with moderate use. Cannot return because it is inside the phone.Again, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BATTERY. Look somewhere else if you want reliability.

Went pretty well, except the lack of a T3 in the kit for the 2020 G power. I have one pretty comprehensive kit so it wasn't a problem, but most my kits don't go down that small and was not included. Probably could use some B-7000 glue as I'm not sure how you make due with the pink double sided strips. The battery had about 12 percent charge as installed and had no problem charging to 100%. The old battery was kind of a pain to get out but just keep heating and working around the edges till it surrenders. The included spudger works well for this task.

Put on 20 watt charger for 2 hours and the phone would not turn on. I’m waiting for a replacement battery and will update review accordingly
