Good for fine finish BUT
Not a lot of reviews on this sander.I received the 5.0to start the dust hose garbage falls off.Dust collection is okay hooked up to my dust extractor but somehow still this sander makes more dust even hooked up then all my other sanders even my Rotex.Power 5.0???? The stroke of this sander is questionable. Is it powerful like a ets or mirka in the 5.0 state not even close. Better then any box store sander yes. It can remove clear coats and varnish fairly easy. Pencil lines… take a whileIt cannot remove old paint that easy, but while you are sitting there holding it with two fingers yawning, you say this sander is smooth. But for old paint removal Stick to aggressive sander or higher priced sanders for that. Or just scrape then sand.Does this sander produce a fine finish? In the short time I have had this sander yes.Is it ergonomic yes except for the paddle, however the paddle seems better than my surfprep paddle no joke.My cons. I ran this thing through it’s paces like I do with all my sanders from lines with a pencil to stain varnish ect. However after two hours this thing overheated. Now maybe defective I’m not sure. It still works but it shut off on me and flashed red for 30 min would not turn on. Once back on I picked up the pace and continued. This time made it an hour through some primer no issues but more dust then I normally see. Guess what another over heat. I’m going to assume its faulty and maybe not all are like this. However because twice in 1 day this is no surf prep or air vantage or festool it’s clearly a cheap board hyvst sander. Which nothing wrong with hense I bought it knowing it would be cheap. But for 250$ overheating In the first day? Unlucky or what? I think im going to invest 100$ more in the air vantage and give this one back to China. If it didn’t overheat I would say yes buy it and still say yes buy it. It seems to work good but I can tell you if you think this stroke is 5mm your high as the clouds. It doesn’t remove material nearly as fast as more expensive models. Good luck to those who purchase this sander.3 stars I give due to the nature of mine being problematic or defective, and power of this doesn’t feel/look like a true 5mm stroke at 10000 rpm’s more like medium 7000 rpm’s. However comfortable lightweight and better then box stores.

Sands great
I’ve been using this sander for the last 4 months and I can’t complain too much , it’s better than running a compressor all day . It is a little bulky but gets the jobs done just as fast

Mirka Brushless Clone
A lot of misinformation in the q/a. This is a random orbit sander, 3 or 5mm stroke. Great for woodworking. I've been using it in my woodworking business sanding mostly hardwood furniture for a couple months and couldn't be happier. You need to set it to A, just keep hitting +, to work with your festool dust extractor. And like all tools the included adapters don' really fit anything so get creative. But if you're used to a 5inch bosch or other HD or Lowes sander get ready to have your mind blown and spend a lot less time sanding. Don't waste your time w/ the included discs, buy some 3m cubitron or the xtract nets.

Quit working in the middle of sanding
I really wanted to like this sander. It worked great when it first arrived. But after using a little while, the sander just just off and would not turn back on. I got a replacement sander, hoping I just got a dud on the first one, but same story. This time I heard a pop come from the sander and it quit working. So I am returning this sander for a full refund. Both instances happened shortly after using the first couple times. Will look at other options. I've seen some good reviews, so this could be a big hit or miss with the product.

Awesome
This is a great sander, the dust control isn't the best but it works. I definitely recommend it to anyone.
