I received this as a gift from my husband and he nailed it! Perfect gift for an office executive - even a female boss like myself - that loves physics and metallurgy. I have yet to master the spin, but just love looking at the aesthetics and enjoying the touch/feel of both the base unit and spin top.This isn’t a trinket toy. It’s a high-quality product for adults. A great dexterity challenge!

This think is awesome. Neat little conversation piece. Seems in other reviews people are expecting magic. It's not, it's just a nicely weighted top and the more you practice the longer it will spin (up to a tops' capability of course). A bit overpriced? yes, maybe.

Bought for a hard to buy person for xmas. Very well made.

I was surprised by how small it is. It's barely bigger than a quarter. The top is also not well balanced so it shakes when spinning. So it does not spin for very long. Any crappy toy top from my kids spins for longer :-(

Worst customer service. Will not allow returns and this is a worthless piece and it’s too small to spin.
