Know the Ratings - Remember it's a Starter Set
Something very important to keep in mind when you read over the reviews and check out the ratings for this cookware set. There are sets that cost half what this one does. And others that cost four times as much. The star ratings for a set like this - if you're going to be fair about it - shouldn't have anything to do with competing brands. Here's what I mean by that....When you buy a used 93 Nissan Sentra for $600, you can't give it a one star rating because it doesn't perform like a 23 Altima. The asking price isn't the same, and your expectations shouldn't be the same. If you're getting an all-in-one-box cookware set for just north of a hundred bucks, your expectations about how good it is should be realistic. It's a good starter set. It's not T-Fal or Cuisinart, and it doesn't cost remotely what a Legend stainless steel set will run you. So it's not really fair to rate a cookware set for $120 based on how it stacks up against one that costs $230 to $500.This is a starter kitchen set. For $120, you're getting good value. The durability, reliability, function, all of that is on par with what you're paying. And it's worth the investment. Whether it's for your own kitchen, or a housewarming gift for someone. Know who should order this set? Someone with either 1. A limited budget for their own kitchen, or 2. A limited budget for a gift for someone else. It's that simple. It's a sound investment in your kitchen for the retail price. If you can afford to buy something twice as much right now, then get something for twice as much, and enjoy a better quality. But this is a decent deal for what you're being asked to pay.

Great starter set
This is a great cookware set for $100. You get all the basic cookware stuff that you need. It is dishwasher safe and easy to clean. It distributes heat and oils very evenly. They are a pleasure to cook with. They make a really great housewarming gift or a starter set for anyone beginning to cook. I really recommend these.

Question durability and cleaning
Lots of others have sung praise for this set. I won’t dispute their satisfaction, just comment that there are several reasons I don’t hold this set with equally high regard. The aluminum base and walls are about half the thickness of the same items from the established quality brands. Aluminum, as metals go, doesn’t have much thermal mass—the means to compensate, is to use more of it. It may be quick to heat, but it will also be very quick to lose it.The handles are attached with two, fairly small exposed rivets (many better pans use three in a tripod configuration). That, combined with the thin walls of a relatively soft metal, and lack of any significant exterior buttressing, is going to result in eventual, if not early loosening of the joints. Long before the handles become noticeably lose, the rivet/wall interface will open sufficiently to allow build up of grease that will be very difficult to cleanThere are many adjoining surfaces: handle rivets to pan (and lids); grip surfaces to handle rods; metal appliqué to grips—again, all places the will make cleaning necessary but difficult. There are more compromises that are made, but I hope the point is established—the low price comes from manufacturing short cuts and an original design that emphasizes features over solid construction. I’d offer that you can spend no more for a few cast iron pieces that, once properly seasoned, will have similar utility, but last a lifetime as you supplement then with other high quality pots and pans ever time. The other highly positive views demonstrate this set has appeal to many, but I hope these observations alert you to taking a closer look of your own.

Nice starter set
These are comparable to what you'd find at your WalMart, Target, etc. The feel well made and seem to hold up to high heat on the stove top well. Not real complaints considering the price point.

great starter set. Dump your old pots and start fresh!
The Micro-Divot cookware has exceeded my expectations. As someone who had never used this type of cookware before, I was impressed by how quickly and evenly it heats. The pots are durable enough to withstand metal utensils, which is a huge plus. The bottoms of the pots and pans are smooth and easy to clean. The lids and handles are high quality and the set stacks nicely for storage. The only downside is that the handles may be too tall for some people's storage needs. Overall, I highly recommend this cookware and I will never go back to my old pots and pans. 5 stars.

Lovely Replacement or Starter Set
I've been looking for some replacement pans for a while now and came across these, they are a really nice set for anyone starting out who needs a decent set, or as for myself replacements. I will this weekend be going through our old pans deciding which ones to ditch for these. I used them immediately upon receipt to make a delicious curry. Normally this dish sticks a little to my existing pans given that it simmers for hours, this did not.I'm not a fan of putting big bulky and coated pans in a dishwasher (although these are dishwasher safe), so I hand washed the pan afterwards, it was simple and came clean with ease. You're all wondering if the food was good though right...? Well Yes, there was no metallic or other taste in the food which is a great sign given how dangerous we all now know that teflon 'forever chemical' is. Time will tell if these hold up but so far so good.
