built well, no frills, good price.
nothing spectacular, but just a good product all around. Fairly strong and felt safe packing this into my checked baggage.

Hey, it is what it is.
After receiving this, it had occurred to me that I wasn't sure how to even review a drinking flask. What am I looking for? Where could it fail? So here we go, here's my review:It's a black plastic flask. It seems sturdy. I filled it up with water, threw it on the floor, and it didn't leak. I drank from it, and it didn't taste weird. So for now, I'll actually use it at my desk for drinking water. If this truly is made in the USA, that's good. Glad to see a good US-made product. If this does develop leaks or something changes, I'll update my review. However, I feel 4 stars is fair because I really can't imagine what else I could possibly need this to do, and I think the price is right-ish.If you've never owned a flask (I certainly haven't), know that they're a good shape if you need a small bottle that fits well into flat-ish spaces. It doesn't look like it would, but it does indeed carry 16 ounces of fluid.

It’s handy and fits a whole bottle of water and fits basically anywhere

Light, tough, handy
Flasks like this can be found cheaper at surplus stores (of course), but this is a fair price for a new one. It's light, reasonably tough, doesn't leak, and it fits better in a pocket or pouch than a regular round water bottle. I find myself wishing there was some retention for the cap, but that's my only complaint and that's how all of these "fighter pilot" flasks are designed. It seems to hold up just fine in the dishwasher (top rack) as well, which is good because trying to clean this by hand would be annoying with the small opening. Overall, it's a good buy.

Good alternative, Maverick.
If you've been looking for a larger capacity flask, this is worth a look. Its plastic material is especially handy for metal detectors (if that's ever an issue). My only nitpick is the cap. It doesn't stay attached to the rest of the body, like most flasks. One can easily imagine misplacing / losing the cap at some point.Overall, a solid choice and a nice bonus that it's from U.S. vets / made in the U.S.

Buyer Beware: Great for water, not so much for anything else, lid is extremely lacking
This is your basic plastic bottle with a lid that does not truly belong on a reusable container. The lid is foam based, people in the industry usually call it an F217 liner, it's foam faced and LDPE backed and it is not made for repeated use. They're typically used for one time use containers. It's important that the liner is foam based because of how plastics work and mesh together. If the lid had no liner, the soft plastic lid and the soft plastic neck would never fit together perfectly and the contents would leak. It's just how plastics work. If the liner was 100% LDPE then it would definitely last longer. When the lid liner fails the product is basically useless.

Cheap, but good for 1-2 times use
Purchased last minute for a lake weekend. Plastic is cheaply made and stickers that came with it were peeling off after one use. Would not recommend for more than 1-2 times/use.
