Koolpad Qi Wireless Charger Pad for All Qi Compatible Devices Including Nexus 5, Samsung Galaxy S5 SV and other Phones with Receivers & iPhone with iQi Mobile (Black)

I originally purchased the official Nexus 5 wireless charge from Google Play to match my new Nexus 5. Although the official unit from Google might look the part, it was useless! The phone had to be placed on the Nexus pad within millimetre accuracy. It was difficult to do with the stupid magnet in the block! Hence it went straight back and I purchased this unit, all be it with a little nervousness...I needn't have worried, this unit works perfectly!Placing my Nexus 5 vertually anywhere on the pad, the light changes colour and pad beeps. Charging starts straight away and is fast! I'm using a 1500mA USB power supply with the unit and my Nexus 5 charges within a couple of hours from flat. Plus the pad and phone stay COLD, No heating of the pad or phone (the Nexus unit made my phone hot)I see some people comment about the brightness of the LED. I've not found it a problem. However, looking at the unit, it's easy to open it up and disconnect the LED if it is too bright for you. Personally I like the change of colour and little beep confirming all is ok!Without a doubt, I'm convinced to the benefits of wireless charging already!!!So much so, I'm ordering another for my desk at work.NB. I only paid £26.99 for the pad. I see it's now listed at £39.99!?! Still better value than the official Nexus charger from Google as this one really works!!There are lots of others available but personally having tried this, I'll be buying the same one again and not risking a different brand.

Great Little Gadget!!I've ordered it a couple of weeks ago and have been using it to charge my Nexus 5 on daily basis, it's not perfect but pretty good.Good Points, it's small, it's flat, it charges the phone quickly, it blends in, my is sitting on a black glass table and it's almost invisible, it's convenient, when I phone call or a massage comes in you don't have to unplug the phone or fiddle around with cables, simply pick the phone up, answer the call and put it back down to continue charging, it charges the phone with covers/cases on as well.Bad points, there are only two really, and both are the annoying LED lights on it, first of all it has a large blue light showing that it's charging the phone, when you place your phone on it, it will beep to let you know that it's charging, and the phones screen comes on for few seconds to show that it's being charged, in my eyes that is enough, if they really wanted a light on it then why not have it come on once the phone is fully charged, as there is no way of telling when the battery is full, it will just continue showing blue as if it's still charging the phone even when it's not charging it any more. The other really annoying thing about it is the Green light (Blue changes to Green) that is on when the Koolpad is actually plugged in to show that it's connected to a power source, there is really no need for that at all. There is also a small issue of heat, the phone will get a bit warm but it's not bad at all, and to be honest it seems to get less hot with time, when I used it for the first few times it was getting really hot to the point where I was thinking about sending it back, but now after a couple of weeks it gets warm but it's not bad all.I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for those annoying LEDs.Overall a good product and a useful one as well.

Nice product, looks good and smart. The LED and the beep it will let you know if you've put the phone on the right spot. Doesn't heat up much and doesn't take ages to charge. It works even with the silicone cover. The surface is glossy and keep a lots marks/fingerprints - that's take one star out from 5.The problem is: a big radio interference... The radio doesn't work if I charge the phone nearby (1m away is still affected). I've try to charge the phone in the car and is the same problem with the audio car system, that's why 2 stars only.

Bought this to charge my Samsung Galaxy S3, mainly because the charging port of the phone has stopped charging properly. I bought a QI charging receiver for the phone as it doesn't have QI charging built in. The phone sits inside a leather case and charges perfectly (and quickly) when plonked on top of the pad. It beeps once when it connects to the phone and the light turns from green to blue. The rest of the time it is silent, until you take the phone off and put it back on again.Heat wise it only gets very slightly warm - no issue there.Now it's so much easier to keep my phone charged and much better if I need to grab it and answer a call etc. I'm now looking to get a wireless charger and holder for my car as that would eliminate the need for charging cables for me. Although at the moment the only decent one that interests me is the LG Smart Fit 2 and LG WCP-300 charger...but doesn't seem easily available in the UK yet - hopefully something decent will come out for Christmas! :)

OK, it looks good, although bigger than I thought...But it's so annoying!When the phone is charged (only goes up to 98% and then beeps) it beeps.... loudly.If I don;t remove the phone it beeps every 60 - 3 minutes seconds... and it doesn;t stop!How can I use this at work, and leave my phone on it trickle charging?I like to charge it overnight while I sleep .. but can;t have this beeping all the time!When I enter these specific issues into search engine, i can see I am not alone.. alas it doesn't show when reviewing the product unless you know what you are looking forIdiotic.Looks nice, well made, good value - but highly impractical

Not as great as reviews suggest. I use this charger with my S5 and found it quite annoying. The constant beeping can get quite intrusive and means it can not be used in a bedroom for overnight charging as once the battery reaches 100% it keeps switching on and off and so you get a beep every 15 seconds. Also the charging area is quite small and so the phone needs to be lined up reasonably well. So I have taken this one to the office and for home bought a Choetech which is fantastic. None of the above problems and charges quicker too.

Works great with S6 Edge, with a cover. Does buzz (not loudly) when the phone is dropped on it, but remains quiet the rest of the time. I did put the phone on vibrate only, so IT doesn't make any sound when starting to charge or when done. Really stands up to its name: cool!

- gute Optik- gute Verarbeitung- funktioniert super (Galaxy S5 - G900F)- Akustiksignal für mich persönlich etwasnervig & auch unnötig da eine große farbigeLED darüber informiert, ob Gerät richtig platziertist + das akustische Signal vom gerät selbst.in einem youtube video konnte ich sehen wie man das koolpad still bekommt. der nutzer hat dazu den für den sound erforderlichen chip unwiderruflich von der platine entfernt. das ist so aber nicht nötig wie ich gesehen habe.koolpad sound ausschalten:1. koolpad vom strom trennen ;-)2. vorsichtig unten die antirutsch-füße ablösen3. die darunter befindlichen 4 schrauben lösen4. das koolpad gehäuse öffnen. keine angst, alle kabel und die platine sind auf einer seite. man kann also keine teile beim öffnen kaputt reißen, wie etwa bei smartphones. ;-)5. die gehäuseseite mit der platine so drehen das die induktivspule oben ist und ein dicker / hoher chip unten links ist.6. diesen chip nun nicht wie im youtube video gezeigt rausreißen, sondern vorsichtig die obere platte die dort aufliegt abnehmen.7. dort liegt ein kleines rundes plättchen was man entfernen kann. nur wenn dieses plättchen kontakt zum chip hat, kommt es zum sound.8. die abgenommene oberseite wieder auf dem chip platzieren + das kleine runde plättchen mit etwas klebeband irgendwo in der oberen gehäuseseite einkleben. so geht es nicht verloren & man kann bei bedarf schnell den ursprungszustand wiederherstellen mit dem nervigen sound.9. weiße LED abdeckung in oberseite einlegen (passst nur in eine richtung), unterseite drauf, gehäuse wieder verschrauben, antirutsch füße wieder einsetzen.das war es auch schon, ab nun schweigt euer koolpad! :-)

Si accoppia con i ricevitori QI per la carica wireless del telefono.Il funzionamento e' semplicissimo. Si attacca il caricabatterie via presa microUSB e ci si appoggia sopra il telefono abilitato (o con l'adattatore fornito dallo stesso venditore).Funzionamento ineccepibile, veloce e non scalda.Costruzione robusta e curata, con piedini di appoggio in gomma.Unico neo: la finitura e' lucida. Molto elegante, ma attira graffi e impronte digitali.Ottimo prodotto!

Le produit est bon, rien à redire. On dépose le téléphone et cela charge. La charge n'est pas rapide comme avec un câble, mais suffisante p.ex. la nuit.

Da meine Ladebuchse am Samsung Galaxy S5 defekt ist, lade ich seither mein Handy induktiv. Um mein vorhandenes Bad nicht immer abstöpseln zu müssen und weil durch dieses der Akku immer recht heiß wurde habe ich mir dieses Pad mit integrierter Kühlung zugelegt. Das Laden funktioniert einwandfrei. Das Handy wird auch lange nicht mehr so heiß. Etwas nervig ist jedoch der Ton welches das Pad abgibt wenn das Handy richtig abgelegt ist. Zwar ist es nicht schlecht zu wissen wann das Gerät richtig verbunden ist, jedoch hätte hier das LED-Lämpchen völlig ausgereicht. Gerade vor dem Schlafengehen, wenn der/die Partner/in schon schläft kann das sehr nervig sein. Es wäre wünschenswert gewesen wenn das Geräusch manuell abgeschaltet werden könnte.
