Snuggle the Baby is a lovely-to-look-at and fun-to-play-with board book featuring warm retro-inspired illustrations from award-winning author and illustrator Sara Gillingham. “This interactive offering invites little ones to practice taking care of babies, playing with them, feeding them and putting them to bed.” — Kirkus Reviews This fun and instructive novelty board book plays like a doll and reads as a gentle “How to Care for Baby” manual for young children. Incorporating real tactics for newborn care, your child can interact with the baby in the book in a variety of ways, from feeding Baby with a (removable) bottle to swaddling Baby in a soft blanket. This book features necessary skillsets for infant care, and other activities include: Shushing Tickling Diapering Rocking Tucking In Snuggle the Baby includes a sturdy removable paper doll for children to snuggle, swaddle, and tuck in. Perfect for soon-to-be older siblings or doll-loving toddlers, this book encourages children to read while they play and practice empathy and care. Expecting a new baby sibling can be stressful, but Snuggle the Baby demonstrates that being a big brother or sister can also be really fun! Note: The sturdy paper doll from the next to last page should be removed from the book and pressed into the empty spot on the final page as you tuck Baby in with the blanket. Missing the baby in the last page is not a defect. Review: Cutest book for new sibling - We got this book to help with the transition of welcoming a new baby. Our toddler loved to do the different activities and showed him what he can help with when the baby arrives. Review: Sweet, Interactive, and Perfect for Baby Bonding - This is such a lovely interactive board book and has quickly become part of our daily routine. The simple prompts encourage gentle interaction like hugging, rocking, and soothing, which keeps babies engaged while also creating sweet bonding moments. My baby stays focused throughout, and it’s especially nice for winding down before naps or bedtime. Great book!
My toddler LOVES this book. We had inherited a copy that was missing many pieces (the arms that go “so big”, the bottle, the baby’s face was pretty torn) and still it was an all time favorite so I sprung for a new copy. This one does appear different - the original has a more plush cover and the colors are a bit off (see photo - the one on the right came from Amazon). But contents are the same and a wonderful reading experience, highly recommend!

SUPER HELPFUL TO PREPARE TODDLER FOR A BABY ON THE WAY
my son loved this book! it was great to read to prepare him for his baby brother that was coming! :) it's great bc it is interactive. it's great bc it talks about bottle feeding AND breastfeeding. it allows him to pick up the bottle and pretend feed - it allows him to swaddle and allows him to bounce and shhhhhh the baby to sleep. plus, the illustrations are just cute. it's a boutique style book that actually serves a purpose and is creative!

Cute book
Very cute book! I bought it for my 4 year old who is about to be a big brother. I love that it's also an activity book. You can take the bottle out to feed the baby, and swaddle the baby. My son especially liked lifting the baby's short to tickle her tummy. (I made laughing sounds when he tickled her). I took off one star because of the diaper page. It's a one time use thing. It's was just weird. I put some fabric on the sticky part to lose some of its stickiness so the onesie can be "snapped" back again but Velcro would have been better. That page wasn't well thought out. But I would still recommend. It's very cute, and the illustrations are darling. I don't know why some are upset about the bottle. Most breastfed babies are giving bottles at times. That's why most of us pump. Not a big deal. if you are EBF, your child is seeing that in the home and that's what will leave an impression to normalize breastfeeding. A bottle in a book isn't going to change what s/he thinks is normal. Normal for them is whatever mommy does.

Perfect for a soon to be new siblings
This is a highly interactive book perfect for toddlers! It goes into the different ways you care for a baby like entertaining, feeding, soothing, and sleeping. This book is beloved in our household and has seen better days. The “soooo big” interactive raising hands have been ripped off and the milk bottle is missing, but despite the missing parts, our toddler requests this book on repeat and now tries the techniques on her sibling!

Sweet adorable book! Lots of fun
I got this as a distraction toy for a 2 hour flight plus as something new and fun to read while we were on vacation. My 2 year old girl loved that the baby came out of the book and that she could hold and even pretend to feed it! As expected, she has ripped some of it (she sucks at not tearing up her books because, 2 year old lol) so I’ll probably have to buy it again someday but I don’t mind! This would be a great book to help teach a kiddo about becoming an older sibling to a new baby brother or sister!

Interactive, great design, wonderful content
I gifted this book to my two sons right before the arrival of their baby sister. This book is truly wonderful! We are homeschoolers so we used this book during a mini unit where I taught the boys about caring for a baby. This book was a wonderful guide throughout all our lessons. My boys love how interactive the book is and the illistrations really catch their attention. I also love, love the illustrations and the content! I have been reccomending this book to everyone I know!

Best baby book ever!
We bought 4 different 'baby' books to help our 14 month old prepare for our upcoming twins and this book is by far the best of all of them! Our daughter LOVES the interactive elements. She takes the bottle out and feeds the baby, tickles the belly, changes the diaper and it's soooo cute watching her take the baby in her arms and rock it while we sing lullabies to it...she can't talk yet but I keep it up on the shelf and she points to it every night before bed.

Went down well!
My 2 yr old daughter loved the interaction with this book. Some pages more fun than others and easy to say Nappy instead of diaper when reading it if not US based. Good quality and nice colours and style of design too.

Amazing book!
My son loves this book! My sister gifted the one my niece's had to us when he was born. We bought a new one because he played with it so much he destroyed it 😂 we also ended up buying one for my younger niece and ahe loved it!
