Affinage Eraser Salon Professional Hair Colour Remover / Stripper of Dye & Tint - WITH FREE BOTTLE OF 6% (necessary for treatment)

Brilliant - my hair is naturally dark brown but I needed to strip various red dyes from my hair, particularly a Vidal Sassoon one that had gone in really patchy and a lot of others I'd used to try to fix it. I have below shoulder length hair so I used all of the product, instead of separating the product into two as it stated I mixed it up for 1 use. It does smell like a cross between rotten eggs and blocked drains and that lingers for a few washes, and it does strip your hair back to an orange shade if you've been colouring your hair a while like I have, but I couldn't be more pleased to be rid of the crappy red. I coloured my hair immediately after with a shade lighter than I wanted to go and it worked fine and my hair genuinely felt and looked better than it had before I used the product, seemed better for not being weighed down with all the colour it had on it! I found it easy to use, all the washing and mixing and washing and re dying does take a good hour to hour and a half but I would definitely recommend this product

I tried this product out three times and my hair always turns back to the black color I'm trying to get out of it. Don't waste your money guys, this product is garbage.

After seeing mixed reviews on this product I didn't expect it to take me back to my natural colour of dirty blonde although I was secretly hoping it would. I have dyed my hair dark brown (nearly black) twice over my natural colour so was hoping it would work effectively. I used this today and it ended up taking me to a medium brown/auburn colour which is quite nice. I want to go back to blonde so it's helped a small amount. However it did not take me back anywhere near my natural colour or "remove the artificial dye"I have to say also the smell of this product is absolutely horrific. Many people have commented on the smell and to be honest when applying it, I didn't find it that bad but after I have completed the process the strong smell had lingered in my hair and I expect it will for days. I've washed it 6 times today and the smell is still lingering! Just a heads up if you work closely with others in a job I would not recommend this unless you have a few days off because your hair will stink of egg and chemicals!Would recommend if you wish to lighten a dark colour.

I've dyed my hair black for years and fancied a change this was amazing after just one application I was able to dye my hair light brown with high lights

This product is amazing and my hair is so much lighter! I bleached my hair and then dyed it red - after a while the red faded to an orange shade, I used this and it's like I've bleached my hair again - but without it being damaged.I would of given this a full 5/5 but the smell is absolutely revolting- I gagged when I was applying it and it stays in your hair, I washed it four times like it told me and it still stinks :(

Wasn't overly impressed by the results. Would say I have achieved better colour remover results from Colour B4 at half the price. I have mid length hair and would need to boxes 2 so the 2 applications that the kit says it can do (to me this is just the amount you would receive on colour b4). Wouldn't use again.

It didn't work on my hair!!!

I had dyed my hair with a red Olia colour on top of an auburn henna colour. This product removed all of the red from my hair and left me with the henna again. I know you can't remove henna colour. It removed every single bit of red which I was really surprised about. Other colour removers in the past have never done such a good job as this one. Be prepared for the smell though. Very pongy!!!!! Would use again if needed.
