Toners are for evening out skin tone so I'd say it really depends on how your skin responds to this treatment. If it's in the morning perhaps, but at night, no. **Q: Im confused about the direction of this product - so it's supposed to be used "in place of" cleanser? That means I don't need to wash my face before?** A: Yes, I've used it daily in the past as a cleanser, but now I use it once a week, more like a mask. I usually use a cleanser before applying the detox mask. However, I have friends who just use the detox mask like it was a cleanser, so they just wash their faces with water, then dry it, then apply the mask. It all depends on how oily or dry or sensitive your skin is to products.
