Five Star Elastic Laces!
I have in the past, used two other types of elastic shoelaces. The first type had hardware that went at the bottom of the laces as well as at the top....a bit of unnecessary complication in my opinion. The second type were the simple curly laces that stay put, just by the nature of the curls that stuck out of the top holes. Those were hard to lace and kept needing the curls stretched out during the lacing process, but were 'ok' after I was done....and the laces did not come out of the holes 'very often'.Enter the Ten Seconds Elastic Laces: I had just gotten a new pair of sneakers that came with the old tie up laces, so off I go to the Amazon website to find some more of the curly stretch laces. I happened to see these, and at first the hardware in the photo turned me off because of my experience with the other ones mentioned above. But the more I looked at the photo and read the description, the more worthy they appeared. So I ordered them. And I am extremely happy with them. They laced up very easily and smoothly, they are WAY easier to adjust, there is plenty of string to keep loose enough for my high instep, and the little hardware clip at the top is nice looking and took only about two seconds to feed strings through & adjust. With my shoes on, the shoestrings feel nice and secure, my shoes do not feel at all like they will slip off, yet there is plenty of give so my feet don't feel constricted. Now that I know how much more I like these over all my other stretchy shoestrings, I am going to go back an get the black, grey, and white. (I got brown the first time). I guess the bottom line, is that for me these laces are perfect!

Great for seniors that have problems being able to tie your shoes!!
These are wonderful. This is the 2nd pair I have bought. I bought a pair a year ago just before I had a total knee replacement so I would be able to slip my tennis shoes on and off. They work great to be able to put your shoes on by just slipping your feet into them. After about a year they started loosening up so I ordered a second pair because it is like putting on a pair of slip on shoes. I can now tie my shoes with no problem, but I got spoiled with these. I highly recommend them.

Works well
Works nice. Fit is good. Good price. Would like to see an end cap like other brands have that will prevent the lace from fraying.

10-Seconds Elastic Laces 36"
These laces make life a whole lot easier. I have a severely limited range of motion in my back which now makes bending down to tie shoelaces impossible. Now, it's a snap. Installing these laces involves lacing your shoes as you normally would, placing the lace through the simple, straightforward locking ring, pulling the lace tight, then cutting any excess lace to desired length and voila, that's it. Now, I just secure my shoes onto my feet with a pull of the laces. I found 36" to be on the long side and did end up cutting several inches off to avoid tripping on them. Although somewhat pricey, if you have mobility problems, it is a godsend and well worth the investment. I do hope that the cut edges won't fray with time. The grey color is a nice medium grey and the black is a true black.

Great for slipping into shoes and daily used shoes, wouldn't suggest for basketball shoes
These work great and I put them on my running shoes. It has been over a year and they still are working great and I have not had to tie my shoes in forever. They still tight and only recently I had to adjust them for like the first time.Makes it easy to slip into shoes without having to fuss with having to untie your shoes and such.

I thought these would be great to wear in a dress shoe
I thought these would be great to wear in a dress shoe. I'd get the tied look, but more comfort out of shoes that aren't exactly designed for comfort. They are pretty much unusable for that purpose.First of all, the small eyelets in a dress shoe mean the elastic cord doesn't move inside the eyelet. The elastic cord tends to catch where ever it is.Second, the instructions are impenetrable. It tells you to cut the laces? That might be okay if like other elastic laces there was something to put on the end to prevent fraying, but there isn't in these. That also means you need to get the length exactly right. Ordinarily that might mean just measuring the laces you have and using that length, right? Wrong. Because these are elastic cord, if you bowtie them, they don't lay flat. The elastic is stiff and hangs off your shoe like dumbo ears. Not a dressy look. Maybe if I had smaller lengths it wouldn't look quite as ridiculous, but I feel I've already wasted enough time in my life, threading shoelaces in shoes only to judge them entirely ridiculous looking. The product was delivered on time, but I think the seller could make it a lot more clear what this should be used for. Also, seller should have a picture of the back of the box with the instructions, so people can clearly see how little sense they make.DO NOT purchase for a dress shoe, or really any shoe unless you absolutely don't care what your laces look like which I consider to be profoundly antisocial behavior.

Tying my shoelaces is no longer a battle!!!
I'm an overweight guy and tying my shoes was becoming an uphill battle as of late as I've gained more weight. I'm able to bend forward but tying the regular laces was troublesome but with these new stretchy ones the task has become a whole lot easier and manageable. Slipping my feet into my sneakers is now a synch. I couldn't be happier. At first I disliked that they weren't tight enough but after going thru an adjustment period for like a week I got the hang of them and figured out a method to tie them tight. I would definitely recommend these to overweight people as I speak on their behalf and know just like them the daily challenges we face. I would also recommend these to anyone with arthritis of their hands that face challenges moving their fingers.

Darn Good Shoe Laces
I purchased these laces since I don’t wear sneakers with the regular laces since they make my feet cramp and elastics don’t. These are perfectly stretchy with just enough rigidity to keep my shoes on my feet. The only downside is they can be a tad long so the ends have to be tucked in. But with that, they are probably useful for high top shoes with the length. They’re way better than ones I got from Academy Sports which are much shorter, and aren’t quite as elastic so they’re difficult to adjust.
