Earbuds Cover with Ear Tips

I am not sure if these covers are for much protection, but they are easy to install and look cool. There are the same three sizes of tips that come with the original AirPods. The tips themselves do not snap in like the original, but they are secured in place with the silicone covering over the entire AirPod.

When I first bought these I posted a 5-star review based on the fact that this is the only product I have tried that both a.) keeps AirPods in place during use and b.) fits in the AirPods charging case so you do not need to remove them to charge your AirPods. However, having read other reviews stating that they lose their ability to grip in a short period I said I would give an updated review if necessary to reflect premature deterioration in performance. Sorry to say, that I now need to update my review of this product to reflect that after 3 weeks of use, they now grip no better than Apple AirPods tips. Based on my estimation if only one of the three sizes fits, as is the case for me, then a one-year supply would consist of about twelve sets... not worth it.

I didn’t realize when I ordered these that the cover was attached to the ear tips. Can be tricky putting them on because of that but I guess it helps to make sure they stay in place. I like that they have different sizes to fit ears. Seems to be good quality.

I saw a review that said they were too thin. You do have to be careful not to tear them when you put them on but if they were made thick then it’d add too much to fit in your ear comfortably. I saw another that said they did not reduce friction on the ears. If you don’t use the correct size for your ears I imagine that’s true. It didn’t eliminate friction for me but it did reduce it. Over all I’m happy with this purchase. I mainly wanted them though because you can’t buy AirPods in purple but AirPods have the design that fits my ears the best and provide good noise cancellation. So a purple love has to do what she has to do 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣

I don’t have trouble with my AirPods falling out, but the plastic hurts my ears really bad. If I don’t find a solution, I probably will switch to another brand of ear buds. I bought these to cushion the AirPod and hopefully alleviate some of my pain. I had no trouble putting them onto the AirPod and they fit surprisingly well, however within an hour of using them, I went to adjust them and one of them tore. I didn’t have trouble putting them on, so I wasn’t rough. I had no reason to be pulling on them hard, so there was no reason it should’ve broken so easily. Good thing they give you 2 of each size, but I don’t have a lot of faith that they won’t do the same thing. I guess we’ll see :(

Let's start by saying that I miss the original AirPods without the removable tips - the shape fit me well, and was very comfortable for me. With the new generations with removable tips, I seem to always have trouble with fitment and comfort. I've used memory foam tips for a while now, and that's at least a step in the right direction. I saw these and thought maybe they would take care of the rest. I also wanted a tip that would still allow me to use the charging case. These arrived, and you definitely get value for your money - 6 pairs should last forever. Unfortunately, it comes at a price. These don't seem to snap onto the AirPods - instead relying on the silicone sock to hold them in place. The silicone is extremely thin and can be difficult to work with, but once it goes on it looks good - and it does still allow the charging case to be used. But...with regular use and the fact that they aren't snapped in place, they eventually start to move around and I even had it come off completely a few times when I pulled out an earbud while I was laying in bed at night. Trying to get it back on in the dark was not happening... I guess that was just my cue to go to sleep. I can't say these are bad, but they just weren't what I was hoping for.

The product arrived and i tried putting it on and realized that the quality was so bad as its a thin rubber and can be torn while putting it on the airpods. Its not sturdy as it looks in the image. Usually elago products are good quality for the price , but this was a pretty disappointing buy. Returning it immediately.

This is very helpful for me, I have tried Elago Hooks's great product as well but it does not fit my ears. But this is great, my trouble is got rid of by these items.

Es verdad que cubren los AirPods pero se rompen con mucha facilidad. El material a pesar de tener que ser delgado para encajar, la verdad es que raya en lo corriente. A la larga solo estorban y se vuelve bastante incomodo tener que estar acomodando a cada rato la almohadilla ya que no encaja como las almohadillas normales de los AirPods, asi que mejor no las compres.

These silicone grip covers will cover your airpods to give them better grip, allowing them to sit a bit more securely in your ear. They are quite effective at first and the lavender colourway that I purchased was lovely. The catch in this case is that I found these to have worn out within a month and a half - I found the silicone had loosened up significantly, and these weren't sitting properly in place in my ears. Admittedly, they had got a bit slippery from my ear wax, so I also tried cleaning them with alcohol wipes but with no improvement. Ultimately these are a good solution but ephemeral. You DO get a back of 3 pairs, so it's not too bad - but I ended up going back to foam eartips (which also need to get changed, but much less frequently).
