Really good stuff. I found a clean used ice cream stick the best thing for spreading the glue on my boots to glue the sole back on where it had started to peel off from the uppers. Also very worth while using disposable gloves as this stuff is really sticky. Surgical spirit on paper kitchen towels seemed the best to clean up with. Hardest part was holding the sole in place while the glue set overnight. I eventually used lots of rubber bands - tied and held with match sticks where necessary, plus a small woodworking screw clamp with some protective cardboard. Sets overnight to a hard but still flexible urethane rubber, and you can trim off any excess with a sharp scalpel or craft knife once it has started to set. Time will tell how well it lasts but it is already doing better than UHU or Alraldite that I have tried before for such jobs. Can store what you don't use in the freezer - then warm up before re-use.

Had this weird situation with perfectly normal shoe with disintegrating sole. Not sure why it happened, but the fact is - there was a blind hole which was about to get wider unless it gets fixed pronto. And Freesole is exactly the quick solution for such problems. Within 24 hours after filling the hole with it, it was perfectly solid and ready to go.A word of advice - make sure you don't work with this thing in closed room, there should always be the airflow. Better put it to dry on your balcony or where you can't breathe the fumes.

This stuff is first class.The sole was hanging off my running shoes and I was going to dump them .However after sticking the soles back with thisI can see them lasting for a good while longer .If you clean the area as instructed this stuff sticks perfectly.I have been over rocks and in water since the repair and the soles are still held on tightly..Good product .

Bought this to repair a pair of trainers that had split on the bottom. The shoe repair shop told me that they could not be repaired but this has done the job perfectly. It is flexible and has done a great job.
