Purchased primarily for snipping the leads off axial components like resistors and capacitors, so the blades didn't have to be particularly tough. They did need to be small enough to get into tight spaces though. These do the trick well, angled just enough so that I can snip the component leads to the right length on the back of the board before soldering it. Like the spring action. Comfortable grip. Been using for a couple of days now with no issues. They are probably not suitable for cutting heavier duty wire such as bike cables, etc, but great for light electronics work.

Feels sturdy and comfy to use excellent spring action these look like they'll last a lifetime not two minutes like cheaper ones. Well worth paying a bit more for quality.

It makes very precise cuts with low effort. Very comfortable to handle and the spring makes it very easy to use.

i got these when i snapped my fancy pair - these are great long as you don't overload them by chomping too much of anything TOO hard (how I LOST my fancy pair ;) ) So for they've held up real good to medium wear (bit of wiring work, bit of electronics..)

Onto my 2nd pair of these now. I got a great amount of use out of my first pair and only bought a 2nd pair because I started using the first ones to cut guitar strings, which dulled the blades. They're not really meant for that so it's on me that they went that way. So got the 2nd pair to keep just for trimming component legs when I'm building circuits. Brilliant little cutters. Can't fault them. Look no further.

Yes, good value item. Good grippers. Gives neat cuts to the wires I've used it on so far. Just haven't tried on thick, higher gauge wires yet. Made two t-bars for a kumihimo necklaces, the wire is 24 gauge.

Twice the price of a Chinese "Plato" ones I have, but it looks a bit more heavy-duty, hopefully will not blunt as quickly as I only use it for 3D printer filament and 24awg wire. Looks like a total rip-off of the Hakko CHP-170 which is twice the price again, so this could be a bargain still.

Parece tener bastante calidad: las laminas estan corectamente alineadas y hace cortes limpios; solamente lo he usado para cortar plástico (estireno) y goma. No lo he probado en materiales un poco más duros como los conectores de componentes de PCB; caunado lo hago ya completaré esta reseña.
