Review: Great fun watching the crystals grow rapidly! - I love this crystal garden and have bought them before. Like many others are saying, it's not the easiest to get all the cardboard pieces to sit right in the plastic tray initially. I managed to do it without any tape but had to bend things into the right shape to do it. When you've got it sitting right and applied the liquid, it's great fun watching it grow over the next few hours. Mine reached its final form after about 8 hours but I guess it depends on room temp, humidity etc. Once grown the crystals seem to remain in place indefinitely if undisturbed, but they are very fragile and will fall off the trees and garden if moved quickly or knocked accidently. So make sure you set this up in a place where it can remain undisturbed. The initial trickiness in setting up doesn't warrant any penalty on the star rating, since it's so fast to grow. It looks so good after growing that you could probably use as an ornament for a while!

I love this crystal garden and have bought them before. Like many others are saying, it's not the easiest to get all the cardboard pieces to sit right in the plastic tray initially.
