Pyle-Pro PMP50 50W Megaphone with Siren

The Siren is louder than anything Ive ever heard;The microphone only uses one side; not too...It takes 8 C batteries.It is so loud that you have to turn the volume down.Top Heavy - The Battery pack on it may be unnecessarily heavy.Other than that; It's great fun;Very fast delivery.

Opened the box. Put some batteries in (wrong way around - VERY confusing schematics, as others have observed). Turned it on - NOTHING... Fortunately I read someone else's review about finding a loose wire. Opened it up (one screw) and found a loose wire. A pair of needle nose pliers fixed it... Just as well, as it was bought for an event. Poor, very very poor quality control. The O ring seal to the battery compartment seems pretty useless (almost impossible to close with it properly in place). All that said and done, the megaphone seems to do the job in a cheap and cheerful sort of way... but the hassle to get it working hardly inspires confidence.

More than happy with this. Functional and does what it says. The siren takes you by surprise. I'm glad I was outside when I first tested it. Be aware if the get the battery deal with it, it includes 4 batteries and the Hailer needs 8!Otherwise its fit for purpose.Dave

Had a few issues getting it to work at first, until I figured that all of the battery position labelling was incorrect. The big rubber gromit/ring kept falling off so I just removed it in the end. Overall though it's great, might get me kicked out of my parents house though.

This is a really great Megaphone. Works well and is very loud.The only slight negative is that when you press the switch for 'ON' you have to put your mouth right up close (almost to the point of contact) for it to register and output your voice. Only a minor concern though and very pleased, especially at the amazing price.Very happy. The strap works great and is built extremely well.

It works, loud and you can get your message across. Not entirely sure why I bought it, so now it just sits in my room. But next time there's a march, it'll get busted out to denounce the Brexiters!

This item is really good and very loud especially when you you have 25 scouts to control

I bought two of the megaphones one worked great the other was faulty. I recived a replacement before I managed to return. good product great service.
