Xega Outdoor 4G Solar PTZ Security Camera with SIM Card, No Wi-Fi

I have three of these XEGA 4G solar cameras and use them all the time. They’re installed in a very exposed area and have handled all weather without any issues — highly durable and still running perfectly after more than a year. The solar charging has been excellent; the batteries have never gone flat, even through winter. The PTZ is smooth, picture quality is good, and the digital zoom is fine for a solar/4G camera. IR night vision works well, and I often use the built‑in night light for full‑colour night vision, which makes it easy to see exactly what’s happening. The 2‑way audio is usable and clear enough for quick conversations. The app is good and sends alerts straight away. The AI human detection is accurate, and I don’t get many false alerts. Motion detection has been very reliable — they’ve never missed a trigger for me, and they’ve alerted me to a number of unwanted guests over the year. I use XEGA’s own SIM cards at £5 a month and their cloud storage at around £3, and both have been worth it for the peace of mind. I did have one connection issue on one camera, but customer service sorted it quickly and without any hassle. For the price, the reliability, and the true solar/4G setup, these cameras have been excellent.

Really impressed and would recommend. I needed a camera for my chicken coop and this has been such a godsend to be able to check on the chickens whenever I like. Good range and clear picture, the 2 way audio is a great function. The battery is lasting well so far with being charged with the solar panel. Hopefully it'll keep charging ok over the winter. Easy to install and set up. I had a couple of queries and Kiki from customer services got back to me quickly and was really helpful. Really pleased with this camera

Great camera good value for money easy to set up and the camera moves around so can look at all four corners of the stable which I’m currently using it in so I can keep an eye on my pony

For the first month or so this camera worked flawlessly and we were really happy. Then all of a sudden it has developed all kinds of issues. Camera feed not loading being the main one. Picture will either not load or it just freezes. Communication with support is shocking. When and if they respond to your chat it takes 24hrs - 72hrs per response which isn't good enough. It's taken 2 weeks just for them to send another SIM card, which we have paid for a subscription for, which has made no difference at all. Signal always shows good strength. Others have reported similar issues where the camera worked well for the first few weeks then becomes problematic. We are now seeking a refund and return but surprise surprise they have stopped replying to our messages. Stay clear of this product

I was debating between ordering this camera and Eufy one with solar and 4G, so I thought I will give this a shot given price and some concerns on Eufy one.. I was not disappointed. I've tested in the garden with my own SIM and had a good service. Easy to fit and fitted many before. The app offers SD and HD quality in case cellular coverage is weak/strong. I've had trouble with camera in rural locations where WIFI is required and this seems to preform well. Didn't need to charge it during since installed and battery is always at %100, although this is September so still a bit of long day. The vendor also kindly contacted me post purchase to check if everything is ok with the camera and offered free 64GB SD card or 180-day cloud storage service. I think the vendor is keen on keeping customers happy which is a plus. I'll be purchased another 2 as the first was just to test.

I’m really impressed with the Xega 4G camera. It was very easy to set up — everything worked perfectly right out of the box with no issues at all. I’m using it in an area with no WiFi, and it works brilliantly over 4G. The solar panel keeps the battery well charged, even with regular use. The picture quality is excellent both during the day and at night — really clear and reliable. I’ve turned off motion detection as the live view is sufficient for me. I was pleasantly surprised to be contacted by the customer service team after purchase — Kiki emailed to help me register my warranty and even offered an SD card or cloud storage at no extra cost. A really thoughtful touch that shows how much they value their customers. Overall, I’d highly recommend the Xega 4G camera — great quality, easy setup, and fantastic support!

Absolutely brilliant!!! Great range, easy to instal, super sound (both ways), simple set up and very intuitive app. Super range of movement. Would definitely recommend. 10/10

Don’t buy, it doesn’t support other SIM card, which is not supportive any Indian SIM card. Seller also doesn’t accept return

Acabo de comprar 3 camaras y carecen de Ranura para tarjeta SIM la traen interna en Mexico no hay doporte para recargas., no lo describen en la compra, Hace 1 año compre 4 y todas funcionan perfectamente con su ranura para el SIM ya que se usan en México con compañias de telefonía locales... Las tiendas deben de checar ese detalle ya que son obsoletas en muchos paises.

Fiable et robuste. C'est la 2eme caméra du même modèle que j'achète. La première a 2 ans et a résisté à toutes les intempéries! Liaison 4G facile avec EiotClub. Appli Ubox fiable et pratique. Je m'en sers comme caméra de détection de gibier sur mon territoire de chasse et elle détecte bien les animaux. Seul bémol, elle déclenche en cas de vent fort et parfois à cause du soleil, mais c'est le cas de beaucoup de caméras dans cette gamme de prix!

I've purchased 2 of these cameras now and they are amazing.

This camera works well, I like the ability to pan and zoom in and out. The 4G option is great as there's no wifi to use on site. Solar charging is a bonus as no electricity available at the camera's location for charging. Easy setup, and the app is easy to navigate and use. The customer service rep (Annabelle) was very helpful while I had an issue with configuring the camera settings. Recommend this camera and seller, very affordable and exactly what I needed. Thanks
