Worked well for 11 months. I'm a couple days short of the 1 year purchase date and the enclosure died on me. Still recognized by Windows, but when trying to copy anything it reports the transfer speed is over 1GB/sec for just an instant, which obviously isn't possible on a hard drive. And right after that the transfer stalls and never continues. The same hard drive works perfectly fine in another enclosure. Even passed diagnostics, so I think the controller in this enclosure is toast. I guess for $10 I can't be too upset. Just be aware when buying this that it may not last very long.Update:Seller contacted me promptly after leaving my review and offered to replace the unit under warranty. New unit arrived in a little over a week and works with the same drive that was no longer working in the old failed enclosure. Any business can have a few units go bad, but this shows they care about their reputation and stand behind their products, and that makes all the difference. Updating my review from 2 stars to 5 because of the excellent customer service. Would buy from them again!

This is kind of a fun thing to have. What I end up doing when I do an upgrade from a hard drive to a solid-state drive is that I take the old drive that comes out and put it in one of these cases. So now what you end up having is an external drive for the price of an external case. This company has always had a perfect circuit board that can be plugged into a USB port. There’s no data loss with the supplied cables. There’s no issues with the plug itself and in the case of a USB 3.0 it actually does really well transferring data. This company is one that I found a few years ago and I’ve had zero problems with any of their external drive holders and containers. Keep up the good work I will keep buying.

Very Handy tool to have for those 2.5 HDDs and SSDs. speeds are good and currently using this for an external linux OS with a SSD.

After playing with it for a few hrs. I found it gives me errors on my videos after it was installed in the case. Never had these errors before, so I took it out of the case and all my videos played perfectly. Installed it back into the case and errors.After using it for a few hrs, I can honestly say its not very good for me. Maybe I got a bad one. But shipping it back to USA from Philippines isn't a good idea because the cost would be 10X times the price of the product.The cord is a good cord nice and thick. The case is a good case for protecting the SSD. Very easy to install SSD. Best for me is its a USB C. Shipping from USA to Philippines was very fast. It arrive almost 10 days sooner.Support personal got a hold of me and ask me to try a few things that might fix my problems with the device. Try doing what they said and it seems to be working fine now.So I changed my rating to a 4 stars from 1 star

Love clear cases. All cases should be clear.This is a great way to re-purpose an old drive into USB backup storage. Comes with all needed cables.

This was just what I was looking for to move data.

Does what it’s supposed too. No problems so far, been using it for a few weeks without any issues or problems. No issues with heat, stuttering, or bottle necks. Would absolutely recommend for the price point.

The fit and finish are perfect. Drive fit is snug with no rattling or movement. Very pleased with the case.

So hard to find hard drive enclosures in brick and mortar stores anymore, let alone at a reasonable price. Love the transparent design, thought it was interesting. Looks good, solid materials. Works well since first using. I like to keep the hard drives from my old computers. Arrived surprising quickly as I do not have Amazon Prime and always choose cheapest way to ship ;) Very pleased with purchase.

Ya habiendo rescatado esta información que creía perdida, puedo mantener el disco duro guardado dentro del plástico y usarlo como disco duro externo. Está perfecto y a un precio muy barato comparado con sus similares.

I had high hopes for the case, looks good, build quality is ok. But when you put a ssd / hhs in it the lid doesn’t close very securely. When in a single position that’s ok, but if you are moving between PC’s then you constantly find the lid coming away from the body. Speeds are great if using an SSD, HDD aren’t to bad either. Overall tho still only 5/10. Lid lets it down tho, shame. 👍🏼👍🏼🖖🏼🖖🏼

I get read/write of 460/410mbps with Samsung 840 EVO 128gb SATA SSD which I am using as a startup disk for mac mini m2. Price is a little high. Hope it proves to be long lasting
