We wanted to go wireless on all our tools, being able to use the same batteries is of course a huge plus. Works great ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great streamer but the self extending cutting wire can get annoying. *by B***D on 28 March 2024* I already owned the hedge cutter / chainsaw multi function device (with a 40v) so opted for this once my old streamer had become to annoying to use (which all streamers do). The machine itself isn't a light one however is balanced well on the handle points. I re-utilised my 40v battery which plugged straight in and off I went streaming. The cutting guard (which this has) saved the new planted trees and overall it did a good job. The only niggle (which is why it gets 4 stars) is the self extending cutting wire which is designed to trigger and extend itself should it ever break. I have to say, all it did for me was extend past the unit (so overpopulate the wire area) which either needs winding back or simply breaks off when starting. My workaround was to keep it running at low rpm - (light trigger press) when moving around the garden.
