45 gallon JBJ. Fits right in the compartment. You can level it. Skimming to perfect level within 24 hours. Had this skimmer in a 40 breeder tank update 3 months. Low volume on fish more corals. Works really well for the price. Wish people would explain bather load. Recommend

Was extremely excited to use it when I purchased it, but was pretty dissatisfied with its performance. It’s been running for a few days and all it does is create a ton of micro bubbles and doesn’t skim much of anything. I’ve tried adjusting the air dial and height but doesn’t seem to make any difference. Overall it’s a nice looking unit, but I didn’t buy it because it’s pretty.

It is difficult to get the skimmer to work right. The water level has to be at a certain level. I mean even a quarter inch variation causes it not to perform correctly.

One of the best I used. Some may find it difficult to use but I have work around most issues. Skimming very well since day 1.1. Make sure that it is properly submerged and all tubing sealed tight including pump2. The skimmer can be controlled, just confusing to find. This is done by twisting the body to get desired flow of bubbles.3. Drain pipe is unnecessary but can be removed and thd hole sealed with some hot glue4. For rimmed tanks like mine, I had to cut the flaps that supports the tank lid. Just cut around the width of the skimmer clamp.I highly recommend this product.

The company always has moderate quality aquarium supplies and with thier prices it make them an excellent option when you de ide to add new equipment to your aquarium. The skimmer is not an exception.To begin with; it is easy to assemble. The setup is straightforward and the parts can be put together with not effort and all mentioned in the instructions. The setup will take less than 10 minutes.Secondly; the skimming works good. Not the best in the market but work as it should. The skimmer may need a day or two to kick in. Expect it to generate microbubbles then everything should be fine.Lastly; the price is justified. It is not the top of the line but it will do its job as it should.I can recommend the product.

It never settled in and pretty much overflowed 10 times a day. I ended up trashing it and buying something else.

The media could not be loaded. Have had it running for a week and it is working great, being able to use a hose to drain the skimmer is very easy, and this thing is thick very thick acrylic.
