Brings back my childhood days
I was in my teens when LEGO started doing their space series, so I sort of missed out on the Blacktron days. Now, with my interest in LEGO building renewed, and the return of the original LEGO astronauts, I'm glad to finally get a Blacktron set.The build is good, with sections you can add and rearrange. The robot is a bit clunky and doesn't really fit inside the ship, but the rest of the set is outstanding.

It is awesome!
It is part of my childhood. I bought some of more Lego Spaceman Classic for this. I had old one from 1987, but it was gone already. It is for adult age: 18 years old.

Superb callback to the original model
The Blacktron theme came out in the late 80s, and I had a few of their original models. Seeing Lego re-issue this one (which I did not have) getting it even at a bit of a premium price was effectively a no-brainer. It makes perfect use of more modern building techniques and replacing unique printed pieces with pieces + stickers makes it a better use of plastics overall. Loving the old modular design, as well.
