Accurately 10mm, the dowels fit as tight as you would want them to.

I really wanted the Festool domino jointer, but I am not going to spend $1200 on a joinery tool, So I ordered the Igoo dowel jointer and It is awesome. It comes with 8mm bits, but sometime you need a heavier / strong dowel, so I found these bits. They are a perfect fit and work great. They cut super clean holes and don't leave any tear out. The Igoo is awesome and you will need an full set of different size bits to go with it.

These are sharp and appear well made. If you have a Mafell joiner these will fit it, though you definitely want a matched pair.

So I'm considering changing over and using dowel rods to help put my cabinets together So I decided To get these 2 bits and see how they work. Upon 1st inspection they look good very sturdy. And they fit in the machine jig to use. I I'm happy. I would recommend

igooo sells many more products than this set of Dual-Spindle Doweling Drill Bits. These bits are made to be used in a dual bit dowel jointer so that perfectly matched holes can be drilled. I have other jointer bits from them and every one of them have worked flawlessly, just as this one. As shown in the photos, the tips are very sharp. I needed to be careful to pull the bit out of its holder by the painted black portion of the bit. Even though the shaft is spiraled, like other drill bits, this part is not sharp on these dowelling bits. Each bit comes in its own plastic holder that keeps it protected and keeps us protected. The size of each bit is etched into the lower part of the shaft and is easily visible. These may seem a bit expensive at $30.00 for the pair, but unaligned holes in expensive wood will cost much more.

Not sure how much I can say doweling bits. It's from a good brand. They are sharp, and drill clean holes. If you need a replacement you can go wrong with these.

This is my second set of Igooo Doweling joiner. 2x10mm is approximately 3/8” in dowel. They make a clean cut in wood as expected so it’s a nice change from having to sand the wood using other drill bits. These are good quality bits and I expect to use them for years.

This drill bit cleans the holes clean for my dowel, I got various sizes so I can change them out depending on my woods thickness. Leaves the holes clean, so very accurate cutting ability.
