The Seeking Tree

This book was a joy to read to my kids. The illustrations are beautiful and the story had a great message for children and adult’s alike.

The author finds a way to incorporate an important, wordly situation into a story where the illustrations and message can resonate with a kindergartener without them really knowing it is.The concept of losing our natural resources, trees that have withstood the test of time, and their importance have been, in my opinion, lost over the years.If this book helps even one child learn, there is more to the world than video games or Tik Tok it's already a top 10 book in my mind.Thank you for making a difference!

This tale gently guides us into the 21st Century by witnessing the growth of a sapling into a full-fledged tree, a gem of nature. This is a carefully crafted, thought-provoking story for young children. I am anxious to share this with preschoolers to hear their comments and questions.

Jodi's latest book is as beautiful, and as interesting and as inspiring as her previous books. Each time she comes up with a new one, I think it's my favourite, but truth is, they're all my favourites. This one in particular highlights the fragility and dire importance of preserving nature, specifically the trees. Our youth, through works such as this will hopefully grow up with real appreciation and gratitude for the Earth's lungs; our trees !!!..Poignant work, Jodi, congrats on yet another outstanding book.

This author consistently produces great reads for children, that seem to become the new favorite. We’re going to end up with a shelf full of her work.

Such a powerful story to remind us to be present and enjoy the wonder of the natural world. A well written simple story with incredible illustrations. Highly recommend for preschoolers and kindergarteners!
