To me its main ancillary benefits are that it is lightweight and easily foldable even with the steering wheel and pedals attached. There is a difference between what this seat can hold (270 lbs) and what it can comfortably hold. At 5' 10 and 195 lbs I find it very comfortable. If you're over 6" 3" and are pushing 260 lbs, you will likely find the seat somewhat uncomfortable and more difficult to get in and out. If you're 5' 8" and weigh 260 lbs, you likely won't find the seat wide enough and will find difficulty getting in and out. For me the Playseat Challenge is perfect for what I wanted. I fold it down after every session due to space constraints. And once you adjust the straps for the seat the way you like them, you can simply open up the Playseat; readjust the pedal length (10 secs) and you're ready to go.
