I’ve used everything in the past.. pretentious stainless espresso machine when I trying to impress people .. Italian stove top, nasty white plastic filter thing in the 1990s..coffee press that periodically spurted boiling water all over my hands.. and I settled on the dripper cone about 15 years ago.. pour and 1 min later you’re done. I’ve got a couple in case I need to make a few coffees .. easy, quick and way cheaper per cup than nespresso. I use a size 4 paper filter .. that and the grounds go straight in the recycling after..

Saves washing a coffee machine
I use this with size 4 filter papers to make 2 mugs of coffee at once. It straggles two mugs so the coffee drips into both mugs at the same time. Much easier than washing my coffee machine. Coffee tastes just as good too.
