Wooden Male Manikin - Sectioned Full Body Artist Mannequin - Yazycraft

This is the first manikin I have ever bought. For the price its great but I had no idea that posing them has some limits. The can't do every pose a human can naturally do. I think though I'm expecting too much from a simple tool designed to help you memorize the proportions of the human body.What I do see as a real issue is the quality of the construction of the manikin. One of the ball joints that connects the thigh to the pelvis is glued farther up front than the other and you can see the leftover residue of glue in some places. Some parts don't move so smoothly like the abdomen and head.

[Overall], the product is a good build. It doesn't smell like other cheap ones and it is fairly easy to adjust its pose. Joints are well connected and structured to articulate dynamic motions. You can adjust hands and feet as well. [Highly] recommend for those who draw or someone looking for neat decoration.[BUT] you may be disappointed at the details of the product. The product I received had an uneven cut on its bottom and it was a huge turn off while perusing the whole body of the product. Mine could have been a defective product and I just don't have time for the return process... You may get a good one but I don't have another to compare.The morale of the story is that I recommend this product. You can't get better quality product for the price.

I purchased this Mannequin as a gift. It looks like and compares to the other ones I've seen and purchased over the years as gifts for the aspiring artists in my family. The box was slightly dented upon arrival, however the Mannequin itself appears to be unharmed. Hopefully he will like it!

I bought this for my daughter for Channukah since she wanted it. She's 10. She said that it looks creepy but got past that point. LOL. Doesn't bend as much as she wanted it to, but she's keeping it to draw from.

We have really enjoyed the book 'Drawing With Children' by Mona Brookes and we were inspired by her section on drawing the human body to by this for our daughter. Its easy to change the positions, with proper lighting can be great for shading/shadows and when it is not in use for art, our daughter uses it to hang her self made bracelets on! Great product and a great price!

Awesome product but the packaging was destroyed to pieces. Not acceptable. I wanted to gift this but now I have to purschase a different box to put it in.

Good product!.... my only complaint : sometimes when I need to bend joints, this guy is a little bit tough!

I love these manikins. I bought one for each of my coworkers. They have them on their desks. These have perked up their mornings. They brought some entertainment to their day jobs. For less than $7 each, you could not ask for a better quality adult toy that is appropriate for the workplace!
