Dell P2314T 23" LED LCD Touchscreen Monitor - 16:9-8 ms 461-5828

I truly love this monitor. My pet peeve and the reason for 4 stars is that it is not a very bright (sharp/colorful ) picture. I have not found a way to get around that issue as others have. The size is perfect. I love the touch screen but I must admit I forget about it and use the mouse way too often! The screen lays flat if you need it to. I am using 2 monitors... the second for my Bible apt and Word program and this one to surf the net all at the same time. I have never had even a flicker of trouble with this monitor...so far it has worked flawlessly. It does not take the newer cables ( the reason for the poor color) which I only notice when I use my smaller monitor that is HD. Side by side there is no comparison. Anyone reading this review and has knowledge h is to fix this problem would be greatly welcome. I have already tweaked it as sharp as it will go which helped only a little. I am not computer illiterate but this one has me baffeld. I also watch movies, Netflix and You Tube with it and it is "ok" at best as far a bright and sharp goes. Use your own discretion on buying this monitor...if it doesn't matter to you about the quality of color, etc. is, then you will be very happy with it. Its a keeper for me! AND the issue with the mirror glass...no problem here. I dont notice it while the monitor is on.

Love the image quality. Beautiful monitor. I think it's great. Touch works very well, but honestly, I don't use the touch as much as I thought I might (using Windows 10). Only downside for me is that the VESA mount on the back is recessed from the surface of the monitor, and my specific VESA mount needed a larger area for mounting. I fixed it by using some nylon spacers and longer screws. But, that's not the monitor's fault, and I haven't deducted any stars for that. But, any users looking to use the VESA mount should note that it is recessed, in case that matters to you. Beautiful monitor, though. Great to have some USB ports on the side, too.

The installation "sheet" which came with the monitor was worthless and frustrating. When I couldn't get it to work I searched on the internet for solutions which drove me to purchase $70 of cables, including a Displayport cable, which was completely unnecessary, and have been returned. Just before the nervous breakdown I finally had a Geek come to the house to install everything, which took five minutes because he'd done it dozens of times. Neither one of us can grasp why Dell's instructions are so incomplete.The monitor itself is just as advertised. The picture is clear and crisp and is a beautifully functional piece of equipment while being very appealing stylistically. I'm a very happy camper.

I love this monitor. The touch screen is fabulous. My computer is older and does not have an HDMI port. So my resolution is limited to 720. But even with that limitation, the picture is still beautiful. I also think it is a great value for the price. The best thing about it is the design. It is very stable which is especially important in a touch screen monitor. After using this monitor, I would never go back to a non-touch screen monitor.

Very nice monitor. I have an Acer 23" which seemed to occupy the who table, this monitor leaves so much space for me on the table its hard to believe its 23". I have measured it a number of times and it is 23" diagonal. its a very efficient use of space. There is glare on this monitor, I remember seems a post that there was glare on the monitor, I got none. I am quite happy with the monitor.

Pros: It's the same resolution and contrast as my Optiplex 9030 screen. The hard surface can be cleaned aggressively without fear of damaging it.Cons: It should have a regular monitor stand. It isn't height adjustable and is just a little lower than the lowest position on the Optiplex 9030 stand.

First monitor that actually fills the entire screen. Crisp, clean picture. Great for graphics programs. The stand is wonderful. Adjust it to view while standing, sitting, tall chair, short chair, et. this stand is exceptional. As a bonus, my keyboard pushes up to and under the monitor front-bottom and works great as a backstop holding the keyboard in place.

Ich war vor einigen Monaten auf der Suche nach einem Touch Monitor, welcher zusammen mit Windows 8.1 genutzt werden sollte. Schnell zeigte sich, dass es in diesem Bereich nur wenige Modelle zur Auswahl gibt.Für diesen Dell Touch Monitor habe ich mich entschieden, da er ein sehr schönes Design hat, gut verarbeitet ist, gute technische Spezifikationen hat, sowie über ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis verfügt.Die Lieferung erfolgte gewohnt schnell und der Anschluss an meinen PC ging problemlos. Alle Kabel anstecken (auch ein HDMI Kabel wird mitgeliefert) und der Monitor wird inklusive Touch Funktion sofort erkannt. Die Touch Funktion muss auch nicht kalibriert werden, sondern funktioniert auf Anhieb. Auch ein DisplayPort Anschluss ist vorhanden, was (bei einem Touch Monitor ) in dieser Preisklasse selten zu finden ist.Die Bildqualität ist für normale Anwendungen sehr gut, d.h. keine Pixelfehler, scharfes Bild, natürliche Farben, gute Helligkeit und Kontrast, schnelle Reaktionszeit. Kurz gesagt, der Monitor hat eine einwandfreie Bildqualität. Anzumerken ist, dass das Panel eine spiegelnde Oberfläche hat, was mich jedoch im Alltag bisher nicht stört.Der Standfuß ist aus Metall und sehr stabil. Man kann ihn stufenlos verstellen, bis der Monitor fast flach auf dem Tisch liegt. Da wackelt nichts. So kann der Monitor wahlweise auch als Grafiktablett verwendet werden.TIP: Den montierten Standfuß kann man nur in der Neigung verstellen. Er verfügt über keine Pivot Funktion (die Möglichkeit, einen TFT-Monitor um 90° zu drehen). Wenn einem dieses wichtig ist, kann man problemlos einen anderen Standfuß mit Pivot Funktion montieren, da der Monitor auf der Rückseite über eine normale VESA Halterung verfügt. Sehr gut passen Standfüße von EIZO mit integrierter Pivot Funktion, welche man schon günstig gebraucht bekommt.An der linken Seite verfügt der Monitor über 2 USB Anschlüsse, wodurch externe Peripheriegeräte komfortabel angeschlossen werden können.Mittlerweile habe ich diesen Dell Touch Monitor seit mehreren Monaten im Einsatz und ich kann nichts negatives berichten. Genutzt wird dieser Monitor als Hauptmonitor in Verbindung mit einem Dell Inspiron 17R SE Laptop, welches wiederum mit Windows 10 betrieben wird. Die Verbindung per HDMI-Kabel klappte problemlos, gut fand ich zudem die Möglichkeit, den Monitor mit einem USB-Anschluss des Laptops zu verbinden und so zusätzliche USB-Ports dabei zu bekommen.Die Touch-Funktionalität ist so, wie man es von einem Marken-Mittelklasse-Monitor erwartet. Bis in jede Ecke werden Gesten und Toucheingaben erfasst, dabei ist der Monitor weder zu sensibel noch zu schwerfällig. Ich verwende zwar hauptsächlich eine Tastatur-Maus-Kombination, jedoch macht es Spaß zwischendurch mal einfach Homepages per Touch zu bedienen oder sich Bilder mit Gesten zu vergrößern, verschieben etc. pp.Der Standfuß lässt den Monitor stabil und verrutschsicher stehen, lässt sich trotzdem ohne viel Kraftaufwand in die gewünschte Neigung bringen.Alles in allem bin ich mit diesem Monitor sehr zufrieden und meine Erwartungen wurden voll erfüllt.P.S.: Gekauft über Amazon-Warehouse-Deals und keine Macke, Kratzer etc, alles vollständig und sogar noch etwas Geld gespart...

DELL non delude mai.Certamente non è un monitor professionale ma per le comuni attività è perfetto, per questo solo 4 stelle. Esteticamente bellissimo. Dimensioni generose.Utilissimo il sistema per l'inclinazione del monitor che consente rapidamente di collocarlo in posizione verticale, e usarlo come un monitor tradizionale (con l'opzione touch in aggiunta), oppure in posizione quasi orizzontale e quindi utilizzarlo come un tablet (ma molto più grande).Ho solo avuto qualche problema per configurare la risoluzione, dovuto comunque alla scheda video piuttosto che al monitor. Infatti le Radeon AMD sono impostate per effettuare overscan in automatico, per cui alla risoluzione massima avevo un bordo di 3 cm per lato nero. Ho dovuto installare ATI Control Center e modificare l'impostazione. Poi ho effettuato la calibrazione del touch di Win8. Non proprio il massimo della semplicità ma, ripeto, non è colpa del monitor (mai più schede video AMD/ATI).Meraviglioso l'uso in touch!A questo prezzo (€280) assolutamente consigliato.Un poco lenta, rispetto al solito di Amazon, la spedizione.

Verarbeitung sehr gut. Bild finde ich sehr gut im Standardmodell aber mit leichtem Gelbstrich. Farbkalibrierung aber möglich. 2 USB Anschlüsse sind sehr praktisch, da ich ein Surface Pro 3 anschließe. Ist auch spieletauglich - PS4 Spiele sehen viel besser aus als beim Dell 27 ultrascharf Display mit mattem Bildschirm, weil die Grafik nicht so kantig wirkt. Bild mit dem IPad bzw. Note 4 angeschlossen ist auch gut. Touch funktioniert bis in die Ecken einwandfrei. Wirkt äußerst stabil und ertönt kein Summen oder Piepen. Schwarzwert leider nicht optimal (aber deutlich besser als mein altes iiyama). Keine Lichthöfe - ein leichtes Backlight Bleeding auf der linken Seite unten aber man muß danach suchen: Stört beim Anschauen nicht im geringsten. Positionierung der Anschlüsse ist definitiv nicht optimal: Wut und Wahnsinn sind beim Kabelwechsel vorprogrammiert. Trotzdem 5 Sterne, weil Dell fast alles richtig gemacht hat.

Ich habe den Bildschirm zu meinem neuen Rechner mit Windows 8.1 gekauft, weil die Kritiken hinsichtlich Kompatibilität zu diesem Betriebssystem und Multitouch-Fähigkeit sowie das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis flächendeckend positiv bewertet wurden. Nach einiger Nutzungszeit kann ich diese Aussagen nur bestätigen. Der Monitor sieht gut aus, lässt sich problemlos aufbauen (alles am Stück, kein Zusammenbau erforderlich) und wird mit allem nötigen Zubehör geliefert (sogar ein HDMI-Kabel ist dabei). Beim Anschließen muss man etwas fummel, da man die Stecker am Standfuß vorbei einschieben muss, aber das macht man ja nur einmal. Beim ersten Einschalten muss man den richtigen Eingang auswählen (über die Bedienknöpfe an der rechten Seite), da er das Signal nicht automatisch erkennt. Das Bild ist top (scharf und schöne Farben) und die Touch-Bedienbarkeit ist perfekt. Hinsichtlich der Größe muss ich sagen: Mehr geht immer, aber ist auf keinen Fall nötig oder gar sinnvoll. Klare Kaufempfehlung.
