I only received this a couple of days ago, so not had a chance to use it yet.As you can see from the photos, it looks expensive and also like a shaving brush when expanded.That's where the resemblance ends.The fibres are very close together and firm enough to take the powder and work it into your face. Though not too firm to hurt you.I am very pleased with this product and can't wait to try it out for real. Need some rainy days as I don't wear makeup when the sun is shining.To sum up. Worth the money, looks terribly expensive, compact and fits easily into a makeup bag, and good for travel.I would buy it again

Stylish and compact this blusher brush is ideal when travelling. The brush itself is soft with the right amount of firmness for application and the casing is really sturdy.

Just the right mixture of soft and firmer bristles and no loose/stray bristles as yet (been using it for over a week now). I use this brush to apply my magic minerals foundation powder and it's just perfect for applying an even amount. Would definitely recommend this product, especially as it's retractable with a cover.....more hygienic and perfect to take out and about.

Brush is lovely and soft, but that's the only positive. The retractable part does not work at all, initially couldn't get it to retract, now I can't get it back over the brush. So it's not suitable for travelling or keeping brush clean and it feels very cheap and flimsy, even though the retractable feature is so strong now I can't move it! A fair price for the product - I don't think it's worth more than the £3.97 I paid for it. Will keep it as a brush but would definitely not buy again or recommend.

I bought htis for travelling, specifically for the retraction mechainsm and the cover.The retraction mechanism doesn't work 0 it is a metal tube inside the plastic base and it just doesn't work, you have to get a pair of tweezers to grab the edge and pull it up so that you can close the lid, and that is a major faff. The description suggested you simply unscrew it, but htere is no screw mechanism, it is just a thin metal sleeve that falls down in to the base when you take the lid off and then its up to you to spend ages to find the edge and manually pull it up.This is not good.The brush itself is actually nice and soft and does a good enough job.so I gave it 3 stars only, was tempted to only give it 2 but as you can technically use the brush and technically after much manual faffing with a pair of tweezers get the sleeve up to close the lid.I would not buy this brush again.

Given that I am clueless to what is noted as a good make up brush (despite the rumours) this was purchased by my other half on my account. I know that line has quite probably been used before but this is quite a genuine excuse as I only use it when she let's me (wink wink). I am told that it is the best kabuki brush she has owned and is perfect for travelling. You could even load it with some powder before retracting it which would make for a quick touch up during the day without hav to take the product and brush with you. Takes up very little room too so can be slipped into a pocket easily.

I bought a Kabuki brush from Superdrug before and it was excellent, original Kabuki (these are the best makeup brushes) but after alot of use, I needed another, so I bought two other supposedly genuine Kabuki brushes from Amazon but they definitely were not genuine. I decided to buy this one and am very pleased I did, the bristles are soft, excellent quality and most importantly it is genuine Kabuki. It's compact enough to carry around in ones purse. Highly recommend this brush.
