Great Stereo!!
Great head unit! I’ve always been a Pioneer guy and my last several Pioneers have had serious issues with the wireless CarPlay. This KENWOOD works seamlessly and sounds amazing! It has so many features for the sound quality it’s fantastic! I highly recommend this stereo!

Probably a better unit out there for the money.
It's mostly fine. Responsive, bright enough to see in the sun.I've had some issues with the Bluetooth connection.Sometimes the audio is delayed, pausing the content, waiting 10 seconds, then unpausing usually fixes it.Whether or not your phone stays paired just kind of depends. My phone works fine and stays connected, my girlfriend's phone does not, and disconnects randomly.The RGB cycling on the buttons never stops and you can't change it.

Great sound quality with easy to use features you want
I've had many headunits and kenwood excelon has always been my favorite. And as a long-time android phone user it can be hard to find options not more focused on carplay. This one does it right! It's a nice compact size leaving plenty of room to hide wiring behind. Setup is a breeze, and the startup process doesn't take long at all. Connecting wirelessly is among the easiest I've ever had to do. The sound quality is surprising for the money, and the functionality within android auto rivals some brand new vehicles. I also added a universal backup camera which this unit does great with. Just make sure you aren't trying to run the camera in AHD because this head unit doesn't recognize that format. Overall, I'd highly recommend this if you want to save 30%+ over some of the other options. This offers plenty of value.

Product works very well and I am happy with the purchase
I purchased this radio for my wife's older model Toyota 4Runner which had the original radio installed in it. The sound quality was outstanding and my wife can now use Apple Car Play to make phone calls, listen to Satellite Radio, among other things. I highly recommend this product.

Software
After a while it lags a lot. It’s not a great, but it does work when it wants.Biggest problem is it says the antena isn’t connected and you can’t use CarPlay.

Cheaper might be better.
To expensive for choppy software. Would have rather done a tablet mod or an android based radio.

Perfect for me!
This radio is fine. If you need the screen brighter learn the trade and hook up the illumination wires. You you know change the screen angle or even for the smarter bunch uh change do some research and learn how to use your new unit it has an option for on, off, or auto. Plenty of nice features and smart enough how to use it.
