I have a number of these products from Mircoplane and all are the same top quality apart from the cheaper mandolin which should be avoid at all costs. These graters are a little expensive but they look and feel as if they will give you years of kitchen life. Not tried them on chocolate yet but they do everything else superbly well.

Love this grater, bought to replace old plastic version that has fallen apart after 15+ years of use. Don't think the dishwasher helped though! This seems a lot more substantial than the (cheaper) plastic one. Always choose microplane graters, they seem effortless to use and mine do seem to stay sharp, unlike some.

This is our second. We had our previous one about 7 or 8 yrs ago and have used it no end. Got a bit tired so we replaced with the same model. Cover didn't last long on the previous grater...but that's not the bit you grate cheese/veg/zest/ginger/knuckles with!...so not bothered if that breaks again.

I now have about 5 different sized Microplane graters. They are so easy to use and grating is now so easy. Good quality at a good price.

The first purchase was for one of these graters and with the success of this there was no option but to go for a couple more. It may be more expensive than the average grater but once used you know that it is value for money and would not want to go back to the cheaper models.

I know this grater will do a perfect job as I have had many of the plastic framed ones where the frame has disintegrated into the food so I thought it was time to invest in a more expensive version. At £24.95 it’s definitely an investment. So, it arrived sooner than expected but the blade protector was old looking with a barcode type sticker that cannot be removed due to age but above all the grater itself has a sticker on the blade which partly removed but even after a turn in the dishwasher there is lots of sticky residue. I would have returned the item if there was another available but sadly not! Not a great grater!

I bought the ribbon grater for chocolate and was amazed how well it works. It easily makes very fine flakes that are super fluffy. This product has taken my hot chocolate to the next level. It has a nice handle too. Highly recommended.

Für mich persönlich die beste Reibe auf dem Markt! Durch die etwas breiteren Löcher kann man leicht gröberen Käse, Fruchtschale oder Schokolade reiben und hat sehr schöne „Locken“. Optisch als geschmacklich perfekt. Microplane kann man einfach immer kaufen.

Solo compro esta marca por ser de acero quirúrgico, por el rallado perfecto.lo negativo es el mango , que me parece excesivamente aparatoso, y que la foto es un engaño parece que vienen dos peladores, la realidad es solo uno!!

Da ormai qualche anno sono passato alle grattugie della microplane, stanco della fatica immane che si deve fare con le vecchie, classiche grattugie da parmigiano (totalmente inutili per grattugiare qualsiasi altra cosa, tra l'altro).Mi si è aperto un mondo:- si fa meno fatica- si puliscono molto più rapidamente (non resta tutto appiccicato/impastato, cme nelle vecchie grattugie)- grattugiano non solo i lparmigiano/grana, ma anche la buccia degli agrumi, le noci moscate, il cioccolato, e qualsiasi altra cosaCe ne sono di vari tipi, con diverso spessore della lama che realizzano un diverso effetto sul prodotto grattugiato finale (documentatevi sul sito della microplane e scegliete secondo esigenza), più o meno adatte ai diversi prodotti da grattugiare. Attenzione: nella mia esperienza più adatto vuol dire assolutamente perfetto per il prodotto, meno adatto vuol, dire che grattugia comunque meglio del 95% delle altre grattugie!)Overall: costano un po' più della concorrenza, ma la qualità è strepitosa... e il tempo (e gli improperi) che vi faranno risparmiare compensano ampiamente (secondo me) il costo iniziale maggiore!Prodotti consigliatissimi!
