DD 6" Music Percussion Triangle, Striker, Holder & Case

I purchased this triangle 18 months ago for my in-home childcare. I love adding to our instrument collection and the kids chose a triange. I researched a little, but I figured a triange is a triangle for informal purposes, like ours. This one is wonderful, better than I expected. It's bright, thick, durable (if something holds up to 1 - 7 year-olds handling it, it'll endure anything), and reasonably-priced. The string has stayed on (another surprise) and the case is a nice bonus. The kids love marching and striking this triangle. I'm sure this is a wonderful triangle for serious music afficionados, too.

I bought this as a gag Christmas present for my wife who is NOT musically inclined. For the price, I was expecting junk, but this triangle is actually made very well. It's very loud and 2 sides make the same tone (the other produces a slightly lower tone). It come with the stick (not exactly sure what it's called) and a nice case. Overall I was surprised by the quality.

Decent sounding triangle. The bag it comes in is cheap but since I never take it from my studio it doesn't really matter. Sounds just fine on my recordings.

Great tone, and a great price. Nice addition to my drum set traps. I will buy another one, slightly smaller, to find the tone of triangle used in "Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel. I saw some reviews about the case, but it is fine. I tossed mine as I don't need it. It's a triangle. Would make a great gift for a young percussionist as well!

I bought this triangle for a church in Guinea, West Africa. Even though it will be for adult, professional, use, I wanted an instrument that would be durable, as the climate there is adverse. This triangle has a clear, vibrant pitch, with different sounds from the interior & exterior. I think it will be a great addition to their traditional percussion instruments.

The shipping was fast. It seems to be well made. I find that to hear a clear tone, the side not with the opening needs be struck. If you strike the other two sides, there's not as clear a tone, actually some buzz. It's strange that only one side is clear. But, for the money, I'm not going to complain more. The tone is nice.

Triangle is as advertised. Plan to use with other musical instruments.

PROS: It is a triangle shape. It comes with a beater.CONS: It sounds terrible. What I wanted was a crisp, high, single tone. This is more like the sound in cartoons when characters' heads get hit with a hammer.
